So yeah. Trying to get a PSN ID set up, but the damn thing keeps giving me "A Connection to the server could not be established" after I go through the whole registration stuff. Can use the browser, and could update my system firmware no problem though.

Anywho, guess I should get to the game playing. Motorstorm came with it (obviously) so I'll give that a spin. Ended up renting NHL 2k8 and Drake's Fortune, so we'll see how those are.

    So far enjoying it.

I read about the PS3 to PSP connectivity....but I'm guessing I'm SOL on using that with my PSP's custom firmware?

Welcome to the club! Get COD4, and Warhawk for sure.COD is great all around, Warhawk is strictly online battle, but so much fun.
Add me when you get online and running.

Probably, but it is a cool feature. I bring my PSP to work on Thursdays so I can download new demos with remote play and have them ready to go when I get home.

Hope you enjoy Drake's, I thought it was excellent.

Sorry you are having problems setting up your network, wish I had some advice on that. Once you get it up check out Warhawk.

Hope you enjoy and good choice on the 80 gig BTW.

COD is a pass. Don't do first person shooters on consoles. But Warhawk has me intrigued.

Another question. Any word on when "Home" is hitting?

Welcome DEVS. If you can find it cheap, try Resistance too. That game still looks amazing a year later.

Oh and don't forget to add. Sindred

Uncharted is a blast. Motorstorm didn't really do much for me. But the downloadable PS1 games are getting better. Wild Arms FTW!

Unfortunately I can't afford it this month, but a nice new pack has been released here with the PS3 and two games (which can be Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank) Though it's only the 40GB version we have here.

As much as I wanted The Orange Box, these two games are the reason I haven't really had anytime to get into it.

Nice! I know I'm still trying to find A game for mine still as I seem to keep buying everything for the 360. Once Stanglehold comes in (bought it cheap for Hard Boiled on Blu-ray) I'm going to trade that in along with that crappy Motorstorm game in for Drakes and give it a try. Might have to start looking for some PS2 stuff as well.

It's funny. I played some Drake's Fortune last night, and holy crap is that game good, but after a few hours I wanted to try out the backwards compatibility. My PS2 has been dying for about 2 years now. It's been 2 or more years since it stopped reading the disc's with the "Blue" data side.

One of my all time favorite PS2 games is Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII, which I haven't been able to play for 2 + years thanks to the laser, and it worked like a charm on the PS3. And I ended up playing it for 5 hours....

    :lol

I believe that new custom firmware was just released for the PSP that allows for the remote play capability.

Aye, found that a short while ago. Problem is now to figure out how to properly upgrade from my current custom firmware to this newest custom firmware.

Don't want to A: Brick the PSP, or B: lose my precious emulators heh.

    w00t!

Got the custom 3.80 firmware on the PSP, and am now enjoying remote play!

Tested it out with my Final Fantasy 8 discs, and yay! I can play FF8 while taking a dump. Or at work. :lol

Now if they could get remote play support for the PS2 games, I'd be very happy. I don't expect PS3 game support though.
