    I bought a Generations Scourge.

Never really cared for Scourge. As with everyone else, Cyclonus had the cooler color, alt-mode, voice and job in my eyes. Needed him for completion and to round out the 'cons.

But I loved him. This mold was great! I decided that what better way to round out the thin Decepticon ranks than by troop building for the first time in my life. I found a cheap used Gen. Scourge that became my first sweep.

Then I thought, what better way to distinguish Scourge than to pick up the United one to set him apart? At unreasonable expense I imported my first transformer (sort of: bought at Botcon). But then the Generations Scourge market became saturated! Suddenly two additional sweeps could be had for less than I initially paid for my first one! And shouldn't I have at least as many as it takes to draw and quarter Ultra Magnus?

Now I'm looking at my shelf. The United guy doesn't fit the whole "Identical" vibe that the sweeps are supposed to represent. Two sweeps aren't even opened because there's not enough room for them.

TL,DR - How many is too many? How many do you have? Anyone want a United Scourge? Kidding on the last one...mostly?

I think the correct number is 1 united scourge to 3 generations sweeps. I would love to get my hands on a united scourge for such a purpose but haven't really bothered yet

On display I have one Generations Scourge with an Extra Target master from Cyclonus as THE Scourge. Then I have to additionals as the Sweeps. I also have a United Scourge but he isn't open. It's enough for me. I also have the 1st Cyclonus, sans Target Master, as the supposed "Armada".

But one to three means you can't put them in triangle formation. I suppose this matters.

I just have one. I had a second floating around in my collection for a few months, but I didn't display it as a sweep or anything...just my spare Gens. Scourge that I was pondering a second use for (kitbashing). I eventually decided to trade it for some junkers and cash.

Generations Scourge has become one of my favorite molds (always loved Scourge's character design as well, all the way back to G1).... so even though I don't normally army-build, I think I ended up with eight sweeps plus United Scourge. Gotta say they look nice in a crowd.

Really I think Reprolabels should release a small upgrade set of stickers that could distinguish one of the crowd as specifically Scourge.

This is exactly what I've done. I'm still debating making slight changes to the 2 'sweeps' faces to distinguish them in 'bot mode.

1 United (w/ FP Sidearm as Fracas) as Scourge, 2 Generations as Neil & Bob, the Sweeps.

I ended up with 3 Scourges since Target had them for 70% off. So 2 will be Sweeps.

There's no "correct" number, just however many people want to get. That ranges from no extras to a buttload of extras. Personally I have seven of them. One as Scourge, six as sweeps.

I decided to go with 3 Generations Scourge as the Sweeps and the United one as the Scourge like most. And Scourge has an extra Targetmaster from some version of Cyclonus as Fracas.

I went 1 United as Scourge and 3 Generations for his sweeps. United Scourge holds one of my extra Nightsticks as Fracas.

EDIT: I forgot about e-hobby scourge, I have him too.

I might get two more. But if there's anything I'm going to mass troop build, it's Wreck-Gar.

I did that, too. United Wreck-Gar. Two gen WG, Two Junkheaps. Parts mixed up, heads customized. Easier to plan junkions, since I have one leader and two rider/bike pairs.
