did you know that James Arnold Taylor wasn't told he was the voice for the Fallen in the movie until the movie came out, he recorded his lines and everything.

I like both, but kinda edge more to James Arnold Taylor. I always thought of The Fallen as a really evil powerful being (which he is) but should have a voice that gave the impression that he was intelligent, and thought things through. Kinda like what Orson Welles did with Unicron. Tony Todd did good but to me his voice was too "ooo im scary fear me!" type thing.

Tony Todd, because his voice really sounded old and ancient, yet evil and coniving.

Honestly, I think they both did a great job. James Arnold Taylor's voice was more subtle, less "in your face" than Tony Todd's. Then again, Tony Todd has a great voice to begin with. I don't understand why James got replaced by Tony, who is undeniably a bigger star, but the advertisement made NO mention of Tony Todd's participation.

I'm gonna side with James Arnold Taylor, not because his performance was notably superior, I just really feel a lot of empathy for him. He recorded all his lines, he didn't find out he got replaced until he saw the flippin' movie, and he got replaced by someone who did...an equally good job. It feels like he was messed over just for the sake of messing someone over.
