    I opened mine a month ago, totally worth it :)  of course I still got Henkei Skyfire in box :) )

    Compared to the latest Generations figures, you might find him a bit of a letdown (read: you've been spoiled!)..but he's definitely a really cool figure.

    Really glad I have him, too! :)

    Congrats!

    I love Jetfire and his Classics version. I don't mind the visible arms/hands on the alt-mode. Which is why I don't see why Gen Thunderwing is such a bad offender in the same category. It's just that he's not Jetfire and not a Voyager, I suppose.

    MISB? Take them out the day you buy them! I think the longest I've left one in the box is a day or 2. Might be different with DOTM, planning on buying a dozen or more the first week, may take some time to open them all. Now if I buy duplicates those have stayed in package while I decided to keep.

    Neat idea! Don't worry, I'm terrible when it comes to opening toys. I've owned (various versions of) the Jetfire mold for the past 2 years and haven't opened any of them. One of these days I'll crack into my:
    -Jetfire/Grimlock 2 pack
    -Treadbolt
    -Henkei Jetfire
    -Dark Skyfire

    Jetfire isn't a bad figure, but he has his flaws, visible fists in jet mode (as mentioned before) and unstable feet for example.

    The feet issues are easily fixed by tilting them forward by a notch then opening them and that also gives him more balance when standing.
