Who her thinks that the Transformers released today, in our present time, will be worth colossal amounts in the future? It'd be like G1 proportions. I do, but only for rare ones, like exclusives or Primes.

no way in hell will the toys produced today be worth anything in the future, except for very special cases where it's a short run or something. too many collectors getting the figures now, taking great care of them. the whole reason the older figures are worth so much now is because there werent so many collectors grabbing them up, and very few G1 TFs even survived their owner's childhoods because they were so damn fragile.

no chance. maybe only on rare items, like japanese excusives, or limited edition lucky draw or store exclusives.

For a figure that was just released a year ago, Alt Mirage will be one of the more valuable if current eBay prices are any indicator.

maybe a short run error kinda thing but not the mass-produced stuff sitting on the shelves in every store.
AFA'd stuff might hold its value.....if any ?

I don't care much for value, although I do like to know that certain of my toys are valuable.

    AMEN BROTHA!

It's like the comics 'fans' back in the early 90's - buying every death of superman issue they could find so they could make a quick buck down the line - I can still get that issue for like $5!

Stock market is a MUCH safer investment - ANYDAY!

I agree if you want to make some money get some stocks and just admire your toys.
