Hasbro will learn when they loose money on this toy, many will not buy this because of the fact that the single bots do not transform. Id say they will sell a some but im thinking this one will be a failure for them.

 

I think that I will get it. but like everyone else.. after it drops in price. I will also try to do some mods on it with paint.  

 

Eh, I'll bet there won't be many 5-11-year-olds who don't have the Devastator set on their Christmas lists. I don't imagine they'll care about whether or not the vehicles have individual bot modes, so it could potentially sell pretty well if the target group just want an awesome, huge Devastator toy.
Though I imagine there will be many tears shed when some parents buy the Power Bots one instead of the combiner set one.  

 

I'm so terribly disapointed about getting a gestalt whose individual parts don't transform. They have had this "technology since the original devastator in the 80's how is it that now... 25 years later, we are taking a step backwards. Hugely.. Hugely disappointing. Just had to share my 2 cents.

I imagine that kids would care about the lack of individual robot modes. Were you never a kid? I would have been pissed about that when I was 10. Kids are definitely less picky than adult fans, but that doesn't mean they'll accept just anything.

 

heck if they dont individually transform he might as well be a badass robot replica without the individual vehics. and super acurate detail and articulation, now THAT id pay $50-80 like Ult BB but NOT $100 for THAT...... even though i probly will out of boredome and alcahol poisoning

Wait 6 or 9 months after Devastators release then a new version with better paint app's etc will appear.... Hasbro will release the crap first and the good things later, that way they'll get in your pants twice ! Why should they change a "concept" that works.

 

DO NOT WANT! I thought I did when I first heard about it but now that I know you can't transform the indicidual Constructicons this is an easy pass with $100 put back in my pocket.

holy crap that's awful LOL. i just have to laugh now cause it never ends with the movie. i knew it'd be bad but wow that's really horrible. the colors are just an absolute fail and obviously the whole non transforming individual bot issue. at least devy should be somewhat menacing but that's the last adjective that comes to mind looking at that hunk of crap LOL. so sad.
