Man, this sucks...I hate to hear it when one loses a job because corporate america is greedy.... The same thing happened to my cousin here in Michigan several years ago...he was on commission...and made boo-koo money...they got rid of all the commish people that made over 20k in a year...the rest that didnt go over that mark, got to stay and were then paid hourly...ever since then Circuit City has sucked in my eyes.. But, it was a blessing, now he has his own business and is making even more loot. Here's hoping the same happens for you....

Dude, that just plain SUCKS. i hope you'll be able to find something better that pays at least twice what they did..... 7 years? That's about as long as I have been with my company...and tomorrow night is a huge all-staff meeting informing us on how we are being merged with some otehr business, corporate changes and whatnot...hope I don't come back with a pink slip
