I bought a new PC at the end of last year, and I qualified for a free Vista upgrade. The Home Premium Upgrade arrived today. And I'm stuck wondering whether to install it or not. It didnt cost me anything (aside from the new computer). Any Vista users have anything nice to say about it?
I agree with M3. I would wait until they MS comes out with at least one service pack. Probably won't happen for another year....maybe.
A Mac user trolling an entirely unrelated computer thread with cliched advertising slogans that nobody is interested in reading? Never saw that one coming.
Go for it. Vista is awesome. I dont know why everyone bitches about, but I assume almost all the bitching is from people with PCs from 1995 and people who kiss Steve Jobs ass at every turn. Vista is great. Install it! And you can also be like Zero Prime and I and go for the often times awesome world of Linux. (dual boot your machine)
Vista sucks cause EVERY little thing has to be approved... and from what I've heard any computer older than a year cannot handle Vista because of harddrive requirements and such.
Cool, Did not know that...the mums got vista on her laptop, played with for an hour before I got tired of approving everything. And I was told my a computer grad student about the year or older...fuckin potheads lol.
