    just few questions like.....

are the twins there and what did they do in the book?

are they called mirage and wheeljack or q and dino?

does it clear up what happened with wheelie and brains?

Well, all I know is that I'm pretty sure "Dino" and "Que" were called Mirage and Wheeljack everywhere (as in the novel, videogame, comics) except in the movies.

The twins were in... killed by Sentinal Prime in the same scene as IronHide. I'd have to look again but I don't believe it is clear on Wheelie and Brains survival/death. Oh, and the ending is completely different...

The Twins died in the novel, Skids attacks Sentinel after he kills Ironhide and then Sentinel kills him. Mudflap then goes into berserker mode and pretty much throws all of the Autobots out of the hangar out of harms way and is then killed by Sentinel.

Mirage and Wheeljack were Mirage and Wheeljack in the novel.

After killing Ironhide, Sentinel aims his gun at Bumblebee about to fire. Skids jumps in front of the blast, sacrificing himself (along with a remark to Mudflap: "Sorry bro... guess I wasn't as smart as I thought..."). Mudflap then goes ballistic on Sentinel, giving the other Autobots time to escape.

It's truly a crime the scene wasn't in the film.

Hey guys, I have yet to see the movie, but I just figured I'd ask my question here instead of starting another thread.

Was the playground scene shown? Thanks.

I agree that scene should have made it in.

Sentinel is in Fire Truck mode, sitting outside of a playground, before Bumblebee and others find him. This is after Sam figures out Sentinel is the key and before SP goes off on Ironhide. He is sitting there making evaluations about the human race while kids play on him.

In the book, they do not die, they crawl from the river alive.

I'm glad they used the name Que since they killed him. Now they can have Wheeljack in another movie still...

I saw someone totally rip the novel's ending in another forum. How does it end?

With a truce between Optimus and Megatron after they team up to beat Sentinel. Megatron & the Decepticons go off to repair Cybertron and will signal for Prime when ready

Thanks. Yep, that is an awful ending.
Why not just fix Cybertron together in the first place?

Its too bad that didn't happen. It would have led up to a great #4 on Cybertron (hopefully) with no humans. Of course it is entirely possible that this was the original idea, but was changed to what the movie had once Bay made it obvious that he wasn't coming back. Shia not coming back wouldn't have mattered if what I am thinking had actually happened.
