I'll be having people over for dinner (my sister in law's family mostly) and we'll play Wii afterward in the living room. Gonna be a blast to play with so many people.

i made a early Thanksgiving with my family this past Tuesday, we had Turkey, Mash Potatoes, and Gravy.

Today though, we're spending it at our friend's place (along with her parents)...there's gonna be a turkey (i think), corned beef lau-lau, bibingka, and couple other plates.

    The short quick version-

the pilgrims were bozos who couldn't farm or cook very well apparently, so their indian neighbors came over and cooked food and gave them corn and watched the little ones play with sticks and rings made from sticks.

Or at least that's my bastardized version of what they teach kids in school.

Yep, and then to thank them for saving their lives, the pilgrims slaughtered the natives and took their land. The end.

Serious? So to celebrate do you give your neighbors shiny beads, then steal their food, kill them and live in their house?

(NOTE: this is a joke and not meant to be offensive to anyone nor is it meant to trivialize the holiday - I know my nation has committed similar (and possibly worse) acts against it's native people).

Anyway, even though I'm late, happy thanksgiving you crazy people. Eat some turkey and pumpkin pie for me (that's about all I know regarding the holiday).
