The Original TMNT (Independent movie) is out on Bluray. For those who loved the first movie, this is great news.......BUT.....here is the bad news.... It only comes packaged with the other 3 movies. I Loved TMNT 4 (2007) but I could easily live without TMNT 2 and 3, so I may get it and sell the other two, because I really loved the original movie. "That was a crime, you purse-grabbing puke, and this is the penalty!!"

I remember seeing the first one in theaters. Don't care for the other two. The CG movie was cool.

Ordered this awhile ago, it shipped Saturday, hope to get it today. Now I have to figure out what to do with my extra copy of TMNT.

Ok check this out. I loved the black and white comics of TMNT, so when Ooze came out, I nearly puked at how stupid the turtles were acting. But, I saw a clip of it the other day and I was laughing out loud. I think the years might make me more appreciative of it, so I will definitely give it another viewing. The third movie was ok, but their costumes were abysmal, especially LEO. He looked horrible. I hope the darks in the transfer are good for the first movie. That movie has a lot of dark scenes.

The thing is, in my puny little brain, I can imagine how fucking sweet a new TMNT live action COULD look, if done by the right person, but I dunno if that will ever happen. The look of the first one, the tone of the forth one, and the turtles short and CG (for nimble movement).

Will buy if an individual release shows up, but i'm not paying money for the woefully awful sequels to get it.

Then again, Ninja Rap in HD....

Wow, 60 bucks for all 3 TMNT movies on Blu-ray?! Hell, I'd buy that in a heartbeat... (I have the original VHS copy of the first TMNT somewhere)

$60 bucks for 4 movies where three of which have absolutely nothing in terms of bonus features? Boo! Boo I say! So all you end up getting are theatrical trailers for each film, is that worth the hefty price tag?

I want my Documentary on the Turtles Phenomenon, I want my behind the scenes feature, I want some damn commentary, on the first first film at least!

The extra premiums that come in the set are nice and all, but are a poor replacement for real bonus feature content. I'll wait for a single edition release for each, hopefully then they might be able to scrounge up some special features.

It's four movies, but Frenzy is right, I'm not sure about special features. I'd even take the old Pizza Hut Baseball commercial that came with the original VHS.

Wow, now that's some nostalgia right there. I remember that commercial so well, simply because as a kid I was to lazy to fast forward through it. That song will forever be ingrained into my skull.

I would love to see that as a extra.

I got Transformer (1986) from you guys and it plays perfectly on my PS3, might the same apply for you guys and other bluray players.

I would only buy the first movie on bluray. If that never comes out then I am perfectly content with my dvd.

As much as I love the first and fourth TMNT movies, I'm just not gonna shell out the cash when I have them all on perfectly functional DVD without some really, really nice bonus material.

What can I say. Once I went HD, I can't look back. I'm kinda an HD snob that way. :D

I need to buy this, and I even enjoy Secret of the Ooze. It's part 3 that I will never watch again. Blegh.

I even bought TMNT on HD DVD. Remember those things? Sigh.
