not sure if im the only one who cares that the 4in figures of the new turtles didnt have real chains but thought id share. I first fixed mikey's nun chucks and the his secondary weapon. I also fixed don's secondary weapon. Let me know what you think.

Check your local toys r us. Ask if they got them in the back if there not on the floor. That's how I got all 4 turtles. Could have got the rest of the figures but just wanted the turtles for now. Didn't take to long, just a snip, drill and glue. Maybe 8 mins. Its so much better looking. :)

It was an old necklase of mine. the links where an exact match to the fake ones. Im sure your local walmart or hobby shop would have some if you cant find any at home.

They look great. I don't mind the plastic chains too much, but I think I'll show this to a buddy of mine who is thinking of doing something similar to his new Turtles.

Haha, I had the same idea myself and bought 400cm of chain link from ebay seller ilovebeads for only £2.20 with free p&p. Bargain. Do a search on ebay for 400cm Silver Plated Link Chains Findings 3*4mm.

Excellent. So a little paint, superglue, a good pair of wirecutters/pliers, and a correctly sized hobby chain can combine to create a very nice looking set of weapons.

Thanks for the close up pictures! good work!

This looks great, and I'm planning on some things for mine as well.

In case you guys missed it, I thought I'd repost some things from the TMNT discussion thread:

Could a person not just use craft wire - twist a loop in the last link at either end, cut to size, drop superglue in the hole, insert screw & you're done..
