Thanks to Transformers Perú | Facebook we have a look at some Premier Edition Toys we have seen before, but me have the first pics of TLK Premier Edition Grimlock which is a repaint of the AOE Voyager Grimlock.

The new light gray and silver deco looks great and maybe one of the better repaints of the mold so far.

We can also catch a glimpse of TLK Slash colors.

 

Looks good.   Had a feeling that they'll do the AOE Grimlock toy into movie colors in TLK. It'll be the same for the rest of the AOE Dinobots for sure.

 

Need more boxart renders. I find myself liking the colors here quite a bit, but I'd like a closer look at Grimlock.

Part of me is hoping that the "Premier" figures will be mostly repaints and they start releasing new figures for the.. actual line? Or am I just being optimistic for nothing? Regardless, I want more boxart renders of the characters.

 

Woh, that Slash repaint actually looks good! (for what I can see)

 

I don't know if the "Premier Edition" is meant to be something separate, because isn't the Voyager Optimus part of it? And that's a new mold entirely

Either way, I'm kinda bummed at most of the figures being straight repaints. I mean, I'll probably get the eventual red Drift repaint, but none of these are really speaking to me.

 

Ehh, I'm underwhelmed.

A cool redeco of an alright toy I have no desire to own a second time.

If I even own it. I'm almost certain I do because I recall modding it. But I don't have it on display so I'm not sure. :I

 

Bees box art looks rather good but the figure not so much...

 

Welp, there goes my hope for a new Voyager with a better dino mode. The silver paint looks nice though, I'll give it that.

 

Perhaps the line is a mixture of both old and new molds like what Takara's doing with their movie lines along with what ROTF's line did.

Looks decent enough. I dunno how much they could've improved on the AOE voyager, which in my opinion is already pretty great, so it makes sense that they'd just repaint it. But that said, I'm happy with my AOE version

The TLK line is looking kind of underwhelming so far. I might pick up the new voyager Optimus, depending on what Takara does with it, but that's about it for the moment

 

Well, there goes my hopes for the last movie's characters getting new molds for this movie.

Edit: The fact that Bee's boxart depicts his new TLK design is extremely worrying. I'm starting to think he might not get a new mold.

 

It's rather unfortunate that they're repainting AOE deluxe Bee instead of using a new mold.

 

I was hoping for new molds, but at least the deco looks good.

 

Cool ! Grimlock is finally in movie colors.
