Well I'm mot sure about having to break the glue seal of that grey part! Hard to tell where it's glued. Any info on that?

I definitely want to slice off the doors so they don't stick out behind his arms anymore.

As far as the truck mode flames, here's back to hoping that Reprolabels does it!

Would it be easier to fold them up along the sides of the backpack, so that the doors make an H, with the roof cap?

Mine had glue on the all the edges, but I was able to break that free without issue, but the left foot side had glue where the screw is. That's the one that broke. It broke off the stem where the screw goes in.

    Working the rear flames!

Plus, there's a lot of room in the cab (for hinges) to move the doors elsewhere in bot mode. Sweet.

@BrutiKing check out TooKeen's thread! He made stencils for the flames!

If I try this, I think I might drop a few dabs of acetone around it to break up the seal first and work the part off slowly.

    Thanks for the info!

After thinking about it some more, I'm going to add the missing details of the flames in blue that go across his doors and the little bit of red flames that are on the sides roof portion just above the window.

I'll probably redo the flames over the headlights too. Oh boy... lol kent-jackson-1111-2.jpg

Haha! I feel ya! I love repainting movie Optimus, but I hate painting flames. And this guy has almost no useable flames if you want movie accuracy.

Added Testors Gloss dark blue to the driver's side flames and additional metallic silver detailing.

This looks absolutely amazing. The one thing I hope you still get around to is finding a way to improve the knee articulation. I don't do many mods because I don't have steady hands, so I'm not gonna try any of this unless you figure out the knees.

Well, I don't think the knees can be modified for the better because of how the rear wheels sit behind the calves. :(

I think the only thing left to repaint are the headlights and front turn signals.

Notice that the Autobot insignia on every wheel is supposed to have a black circle around it!

I saw that, but I was hoping there might be some way to fold the wheel out of the way or something

Painted the roof lights and turn signals.

Did something similar to TooKeen's custom Prime headlights and hole punched 4 circles out of an old chrome sticker sheet. It works lol.

Covered the bot parts in the back.

Spray painted Rustoleum Clear Gloss over the whole truck.

Next week I'll coat the bot mode in satin clear to finish it all off.

The headlight circles look just a bit too big, but otherwise I'm blown away.

I thought so too. Perhaps I'll make them more "oval" by cutting off the tops and bottoms.

Looking at more pictures of the truck...

I'm not satisfied with what I did for the headlights! Going to think more about this.
