Though when he Transforms you do see the guns on the back of the truck, so they did manage to incorporate them on screen, even if it's a blink and you'll miss it thing.

I love that BB Study A2 based off the Mustang GT, give it to me now!  Beat up OP is phemonal. I still get chills everytime I see the close-up of OPs face with the red streak . Daytraders junk is so detailed, that\'s a Pratt & Whitney F100 military aircraft engine protruding from the side.

I still can't fathom why Barricade's figure and the die cast cars don't have the spoiler, that's obviously a custom part.

Although I love the model of Knight Optimus Prime, I don\'t see a truck anywhere. Other than the exhaust pipes, there is nothing in robot mode that even looks like he turns into a truck.

ford GT badge on BB's door. Not a fan of that.

These are fine and I know saying this I'm sure people will defend them.... but it's all just too much. there is no reason for any of the car guys to be this f**ked up. the designer clearly has vision but it's more Chappy/District9 then transformers.

A third party company you say? ;)

Not sure if this is just a custom at the moment or if it will actually get produced, but either way...

Neat. I would've liked Barricade to be black in the movie like the concept instead of blue.

I love, love, love seeing the concept art for these movies!

Its neat to see what they were thinking for the initial look and design of these characters and alt modes.

Makes sense as to why the Barricade and Hound toys are built the way the are. Now I'm wondering about concept art for Nitro and Cogman since their toys have the headmaster feature, and we didn't see that in the movie.

Not sure if there's a 3rd party thread for it or not, but someone posted pics of it in the Movie Toys Appreciation Thread a couple weeks ago. I'll see if I can find the post again.

It's fine, I looked in the 3P discussion and found it, here's a link for anyone else interested in that Black Apple TLK Barry: Black Apple - TLK Barricade

As for the concept art, damn, those concepts look ferocious, I would've adored to see some of those concept cars exist IRL.  Not to mention Barricade's black & white looks so much better than the blue they used in the film & toy!

I've always dug the concept art for these films, and wish they would publish a book on them, but the submarine was unnecessary being mentioned as a TF in TLK.

The old concept art from ROTF was cool with the sub having the rotating shard/teeth gimmick. Too bad it was a wasted bit.

All of this is groovy nonetheless.

Squint your eyes really tightly and you'll see the parts. Its like those repeating patterns images you stare at a REALLY long time until you see another image within the image. Its Inception for your mind.

As awesome as all this concept art is, I'm more interested in seeing more robot concepts. I'm especially curious if the submarine ever had a robot mode designed.
