This turned out better in my head...It probably would have turned out better if I were more patient with the paint. I used the TR Breakaway mold...again. I also used the headmaster for swoop and painted it grey. I actually have another head and chest on the way from shapeways, so this may change in a matter of days...anyway.

Preciate it...in the process of doing another one though...I'll be more patient with the paint this time.

Lol, you have inspired me, sir! Since posting that, I have legitimately started the process of getting these and making my own. Had to, since I missed out on the last two releases of Windcharger.

Version 2 or The Remix of TR Windcharger...
On this one, I was more patient with the paint and added another coating of pledge as well. I know the hands and feet are supposed to be red according to the G1 cartoon, but I wanted to break the red up...so I painted them black. The main reason I wanted to do this figure is because of one of my favorite G1 episodes, Masquerade. I know Windcharger hung out with the minibots, but that episode had me thinking he should have been bigger/taller because he was disguise as Wildrider. Anyway, this one turned out better...Here are some solo shots of him, some comparisons with other bots and my first version, and the Masquerade crew.

This is great man! Does the pledge work as a sealer or do you use it to make it look nice?

Thanks bro...it serves as a "little" protection, but not much...I'd do better getting something like dullcote...another member told me about it.

Try using a SATIN finish clear coat. You can pick it up at Walmart in the spray paint section...do NOT use the FLAT clear coat unless you want to strip everything off and redo the whole figure. (Found out the hard way...)

I actually did a fully combining version of the Masquerade group a year or so back. Made Jazz from Deadend, Sideswipe from Sunstreaker, and Windcharger from Streetwise with the light bar dremeled and smoothed off...also did a Tailgate the same way, just because I wanted one to match Windcharger...Mirage, is still original, but eventually he'll get Reprolabels like Jazz. Optimus Prime was Reprolabeled up, but since then also now has the awesome SND upgrade, so I can still combine to form MASQUERADE Optimus Prime.

Anytime, and thanks for the compliment! Eventually, I will get them unpacked and displayed for a few photos, so you can check them out.

Nice! Definitely have to agree with you, and it looks great too. Probably going to be doing something like this for a Siren and a Minerva custom, with a chest and light bar set I found on Shapeways, created and designed by Steamshield.

    Looks pretty sweet, BM!
