A little abit picture heavy Got her today , never owned a windblade so this is just purely on this version of her. 1st time giving a review ,do apologize in advance for any poor articulating of my words Pros - Very clean and good paint on the face , titan master visor is painted again. -Face design is nice and still accurate to windblade as a character . -Mold is pretty solid , no extremely flimsy bits joints are tight enough and good articulation -"soft ratchet joints for her hip seems like 4 clicks and 2 clicks for shoulders to push up/ down for transformation" -alt mode is pretty decent has port for stands. - wings on tight " what seems like 3 click ratchet join " Cons - feet tends to lean up abit leading to falling , pretty minor issue screw can be tighten. - no waist swivel - no wrist swivel / joint - titan master to head connection abit loose in the back section , can't tilt her head to look down too much without popping off - shares the cockpit backpack similar to her rid mold . - doesn't have her signature blade , in exchange for the titan master weapon gimmick. IMO - in my copy of her , she's pretty damn decent for a deluxe figure , good possability. Both modes are decent , transformation is pretty intuinitive . Really like her current face mold . It's a good toy in general to me .
This will be a pass for me. She just looks too fat/wide. The Robot In Disguise version, when painted up, is the best mold for her, imo
Yup , besides missing gold paint on the lower crest that connects to the bridge of her nose , it's her design Thanks, first time trying Hmm I've seen some complains about her thighs being too thick? But fat and wide is a first. Haha but sure , you do you . I think she's fine
I think many of us were introduced to the Generations and RID molds first which were sleeker in comparison to this one. That said, still a great figure though! Gonna steal the RID sword for her heh
Thanks for the review! Agreed with MatrixOfWumbo, the new head nicely captures most of the Stone design. I have most of the Windblade releases and will probably get this one too. I'm expecting that the big chunk of person stuck to the back of her head will be a little annoying, but I'll find out in-hand.
Haha that's true , but I think this is more realistically accurate for a humanoid figure? If that makes sense . thanks , ironically imo to this issue her "hair" style kinda fits the titan master shape
Backpack's a bit bleh, but I still think she looks great! Shame she keeps this mold's wibbly neck connection, but unlike the other two at least she looks good.
Kinda solved it sort of? So ... turn the Titan master head around before plugging it in , makes for a good ball jointish connection and gives her a white neck sort of
The more I see this figure, the more I like it. I'd say the Adventure figure is probably the best official Windblade out there, but this is definitely the best looking of the Hasbro offerings
I've never been attached to Windblade as a character. But this figure looks absolutely fantastic. Love the intricately designed face sculpt. The jet mode is awesome too. This is a must buy.
Not bad. Looks like a toy that gets a lot of the details right where previous toys dropped the ball, yet the broad strokes are compromised by being a Titans Return toy and sharing mold elements with Scourge and Highbrow. I'll definitely pick it up given the chance. It will be fun looking into the feasibility of modding and part-swapping between the three deluxe Windblades for an ideal-ish result.
The only thing I don't like are the super thin forearms and thick biceps. They look really odd together. Otherwise, pretty good. Best WB so far.
Either forearms should be thicker or biceps thinner, but otherwise it's a good-looking figure. Between this and the NuRiD one, the Thrilling 30s mold is now really obsolete.
