Used to be a time when we were all extremely grateful when a toy was given a new head instead of being a completely straight repaint. And now even that isn't enough for most people. Remolds exist but not all repaints will be remolded.
Hmmm, that sounds very revisionist to me I'm talking about one new part that probably would have cost less than a new titanmaster and would have pulled a lot of people on board to buy this toy who now rightfully wont bother.
It would have been several parts, as you'd essentially have to change the entire back half of the alt mode to accommodate it The head was the right choice in this matter

topspin looks the best then closely followed by perceptor and krok. quakes colours are very appeling as well.
There is a special event in the Philipenes where Hasbro has made them available. Some places already have pre-orders up as well. Primus. I'm going to be scouring ebay for the next month looking for a Krok. I need one so bad.
One part would have been enough. Maybe three if you want a rotating turret. We probably wont get Spinister in this line so it doesnt really matter. But it would be quite easy for a shapeways designer to create a flat backflap and a turret you canfit the balljoint of a titanmaster in create a more G1 altmode.
Broadside's carrier mode is pretty much perfect (much better than anything I've seen from Third Parties) but his jet mode is still awkward, I suppose there will be some fan modes to make it look better though. I don't mind that Quake is just a redeco since Hardhead's mould is pretty damn good (It deserves even more love than TR Blurr). I hope Krok has tighter joints than Skullcruncher. I guess that since Hasbro is going for the toy look for Topspin, Takara will use his media appearance (and since his most famous media appearance is Last Stand of the Wreckers I guess they will use that and therefore I will love it).
Kup and Perceptor for me. Topspin if I am in an impulse buying mood. Not too bothered about the others though. Still want the wave 4 Titan Masters anyhow.
I can't wait to get these. They look amazing. Topspin looks like it'll be my top favorite outta this wave.
I was in distribution earlier at toy kingdom megamall, damn im so outdated i actually didn't know this release like sky shadow, broadside and most of the deluxes exist. i didn't expect we will have local distribution i just decided to visit toy kingdom i saw this guys. but i didnt see kup or perceptor? does that mean im too late?? I got voyager optimus i wish i didnt burn my money for today if i just saw sky shadow earlier, man im telling you guys sky shadow looks great in person.
You aren't really outdated here, as the distribution was literally today. Probably just late to the party. Many people there wanted Kup, Perceptor and Brawn.
Weird how the club was able to use the name Gatoraider but not Hasbro. Maybe they just didn't want to. Ah well, it just means to me that Krok has more than one partner.
