All legends and bigger except the repaints for me. Also pass on Megs and Prime till the Blitzwing and Octane repaints.
Eh least Broadside is being made. Going to get pretty much everything but Krok and Quake. Never really knew much about those two outside the fact they are comic characters.
SO FUCKING STOKED for Krok. Skullcruncher and Krok were the first two Transformers I owned, and it's so sweet to have them back again, and in the same line too.
Barely! The plane mode is abysmal and Aircraft Carrier mode is pointless. A3 wasn't much better, the mold in general is a pass for me but the way Hasbro has been remaking these characters every 2 to 4 years we may see a decent version of Broadside soon enough. So I'll just wait. Just like I did when I passed on paying like 60 bucks for Funpub's version of Krok in 2015.
Oh man I\'m loving this! Not sure who I\'ll pull the trigger on but I plan to get Repugnus and Broadside at least. Krok and Quake look very good but I already have Sullcruncher and Hardhead so I\'ll probably only get them on sale or clearance maybe. Other than the obnoxious Bumblebee repack this wave looks excellent.
I am not quite sure on that. The reason the other Triple Changers were made were updated was because they are more recognizable and more popular. The main reason I think Broadside took so long to get made was A: Broadside has the overall most dull design out of all of them B: Was never really shown outside of G1 (Not counting comics here) C: Triple Changers in general are a bit of rare breed not including multi-changers just for a sake for another mode.
That cardback art for Brawn is awesome! Finally someone at Hasbro is paying attention to the characters and the personalities they had in the cartoon. The only Brawn I've ever owned is a G1. This new version is an insta-buy for me.
I'm hoping to get everything that is not a repack, but especially Topspin, Perceptor, Brawn, and Black Shadow. I have the TAV version of Black Shadow, but that leader version looks too good to pass on. I'm a little iffy on Krok and Quake since they're just redecos with new faces, but compared to the laziness (imo) of Getaway they're pretty glorious. I really hope his bot mode has a pachiderm style head the way Sawback has a feline head.
I'm glad that Titans Return is pumping out so much awesome stuff but also making things that I don't need, since it keeps my spending down per wave. Perceptor is awesome, but I prefer the RTS version. I'm debating on Black Shadow because he's pretty big and also not a pretender, plus I do plan on getting overlord. But Shuffler, Topspin, Krok, Quake, and Broadside will definitely be mine.
So glad we finally got pics, and all of them are awesome!!! Aside from Skyshadow (waiting for Overlord), all must buys. I'm kind of puzzled/annoyed by Hasbro's PR this time around, though. No reason for so much secrecy/unusual that we had to wait until production pieces are being shipped to get reveals of Krok, Quake, and Topspin... That's where I think they could learn from Takara Tomy and have more twitter/SNS buzz for these lines...
They all look great! Whatever ones I don't get for my personal LL shelf, I'll be getting my kids. Also of note...Rooker wins the award for the most random posts on the entire board.
I don't disagree. Mind you I don't have a lot of stock in Broadside but I would buy him if they did him justice. And the fear of Hasbro not likely revisiting this character again any time soon isn't enough to make me buy this one. They just need to step their game up a little more.
Krok is poooooooooop. The only bad one. The Club one with the actual Gatoraider targetmaster is light years better. He wasn\'t a croc even during his Action Master days.
