For anyone who has him, is there any possibility of alternate transformation to have the canopy as the chest like Blitzwing should have? Want to paint him up as flywheels and the chest isn't right

 

Originally, Blitzwing never had a canopy on his chest (?). Since I have the mold, no, there is no way to have a canopy-based chest

 

It's one of these things I always remember wrong, like Rodimus having a yellow head crest or Ratchet's being red (since later incarnations of the characters did have those details)

 

blitzwing's lack of chest cockpit i remember because the generations figure got my goat so bad in that regard and hot rod's i remembered finally after mp28, but yeah i don't know why i don't remember ratchet's chevron. it's my least favorite color choice for his helmet too lol

 

You are right of course. Not sure why I thought he had one. Shame tho cos I'd still like to repaint as flywheels and think also gutcruncher

 

Man... seeing those photos just makes me want that new Blitzwing even more. I was never a huge fan of that Generations figure released a few years ago.

Of those three, Ratchet's red chevron is the least bothersome. The other two bothered me a bit too.

 

Anyone have problems collapsing the leg? The tabs wont go into the holes in the thighs at all...

 

you have to muscle it the 1st few times..then it works fine

 

Thanks. Took a lot more effort to peg in than i expected. Fun toy. I like it more as megatron than the CW one. Cant wait for the Blitzwing remold (if they are doing it).

 

no prob..I agree I like it as megatron alot too. Im on the other side..i love gens blitzwing and this way ill have 2 molds for both characters.

 

Admittely I am actually having a hard time choosing between CW Legends Megatron and this one.

 

People who have this, do the upper legs show up anywhere in altmodes where it would be odd to paint parts of them black?

 

I mainly dislike the CW's face and the legs look too thin for the upper body's bulk. His cannon also feels a bit awkwardly placed.

They're mostly hiddn in alt modes.

 

No, they're concealed inside the rear of the tank/jet which is the lower legs.

In fact I'm having an issue with this, I can't get one of the leg doors to stay close when the upper leg is inside it. Looks like there's not quite enough room for the lip of the hinge edge to fit between outside of upper leg and inside of lower leg.

 

The headmaster can´t ride the tank in a more concealed mode?

 

Yeh one leg on mine was kinda stuck too. Had to push REALLY hard.

Unfortunately not. You could store it in the jet cockpit but that would involve extra work.

 

isn't the jet nose in the cockpit in tank mode?

 

Oops your right. I don't have it with me so I couldn't check. Its a shame he doesn't have a good storage area for his HM. I guess you can just leaving it in the back of the tank with the head parts deployed to 'mask it'.
