I've seen worse fan modes passed off as "hidden" features, so that'll do! Thanks! I can't wait for him to be complete and have pilots for his components.
Am I the only one who kinda thinks those look awful? The visible legs and the awkward angle they slot in just looks not good at all.
Oh yeah, I should also point out they sit in the alt mode cockpits perfectly. Also the various little cannons that come with the set are on 5mm pegs so they are easy to mount in various places around Overlord's body. The only parts of the set that aren't compatible are the smallest cannons (no 5mm peg), the chest panels and the head. The head is the perfect size though so someone with the right skills could probably easily mod it to attach.

I'm on the fence as to do Iget this mold as Overlord or Sky Shadow. Which one do you guys think is better?
I’m probably in the minority here but I find this figure very boring, compress arms, fold up legs and there you go. That being said I am glad to have an Overlord in my collection
I was really looking forward to this figure but I gotta say Sky Shadow is better to me. Especially with his better vehicle connection of the bottom of the plane to the top of the tank. But Overlord is still really cool.
Kinda the same. I like it just fine. It's chunky and big and it's Overlord at domestic retail. But it's not going to win any awards for being outstanding. It is pleasantly mediocre is how I'd describe it. Unremarkable for better or worse. Just, like you said, nice to have.
Same here. It's just a fun figure to play with and to me he's different enough from Sky Shadow to double dip.
I'm actually really glad I didn't pay extra for TT's. The minor improvements wouldn't have been enough for me and I know I wouldn't be as satisfied.
I don't even see them as minor improvements, I much prefer plugging in Titan Masters face in than have fake Powermasters.
I'm glad that I double dipped on this figure mold. Big, chunky, and very poseable. Even though the vehicle modes can't combine, I can forgive that. I saw some pictures online for a fanmode, and it kinda works.
Finally found Overlord at Walmart today. This guy is great, I really dig him. So fun and easy to transform, and every mode looks awesome. And now I have another leader class Decepticon to attach to Soundwave in base mode. Damn, suddenly I'm finding it hard to resist getting more. I want to make a big, square fortification, with Sky Shadow and Sixshot. Has anyone done that?
Nothing to add. It’s great. One of my favorites of the titans return series. Hollow forearms, and he should have come with extra Titan Masters, but a really good version of the character. Tank mode is really tidy, a sharp looking, if static, tank. Jet mode is big and menacing. As someone who has both Black Shadow and OLawd, I find Black Shadow to be more visually appealing in ‘bot mode due to the helmet and shoulder designs. But the mold is great, and I’d buy the Prima/Megatronus remolds too if that’s a real thing.
