Minor/Repaint: Titans Return MTMTE/Lost Light Megatron

    *UPDATED VERSION ON PAGE 2*

    Hey there friendos, here's a thing I done did, one of three things I've been working on over the past couple weeks in fact.
    It's my take on Titans Return Megatron with a More Than Meets the Eye/Lost Light garnish (the spot on faceplate is by 3dprintron on Shapeways, printed in black acrylate). I'm really happy with how this turned out.
    Only thing missing is chest-swirlies, which I'll come back to later seeing as I didn't fancy trying to freehand them myself (kind of hoping someone comes out with a clip-on MTMTE Megs chest)

    Doomshot's paintjob isn't really based on anything, but after painting the arms and legs I felt like the solid red torso looked a bit odd with gunmetal arms and legs.

    Oh, look, it's just like the cover to MTMTE #29 where Megatron's looking at Tailgate all like "oh, you" because he is just so smol. Screen Shot 2017-02-13 at 15.46.14.png

    Paints used were Citadel Leadbelcher (gunmetal), Ironbreaker (silver), Abaddon Black, Wild Rider Red, and a teeny splotch of Xereus Purple for Doomshot's visor, sealed with 'Ardcoat.

    Hey, that's pretty good.

    But that Autobot symbol on Megatron just seems... odd... I mean, I know he has one in the MTMTE comics, but I never liked the idea of Megatron being an autobot.

    I had thought about getting a Reprolabels set for one of the assorted Megatrons for the swirlies but it seemed like kind of a waste of money just to cut off the two little bits I need. Another option I considered was getting a fine tip sharpie and drawing them separately on a bit clear vinyl sticker sheet. I'll probably give it a bit more thought and leave it for a while, maybe see if anyone on Shapeways comes up with a replacement or clip on chest-plate.
    Oh, man, that's an awesome idea!

    I won't comment on the comic-influences, but will say you made the figure look pretty darn good in silver.
