Brainstorm (who hasn't been found yet) is exclusive to Walgreens.

Highbrow, Chromedome, Mindwipe and Wolfwire are wave 2 of the general retail Deluxe Class assortment and not exclusive to anywhere,

 

Nothing like paying a 200% markup or more to get a mass released figure maybe 2-3 days before everyone else. I mean, I've overpaid for something I really want but never for something I knew I could get significantly cheaper a week later. I guess to each their own. Hey, bright side - free shipping.

My irrational and impulsive side got the better of me and I pulled the trigger when I saw the ebay listing.

Usually, I pre-order most of my TF figs from on-line retailers, like BBTS or Chosen Prime for a reasonable price. But with the lack of pre-orders and the toys showing up now at some retail outlets, I guess I just got impatient. Even though wave 1 of the deluxe figures are readily available, I'm just paranoid that wave 2 is going to be harder to find if their distribution is mismanaged.

But my irrational and impulsive buying habits are usually because I get impatient. And with my terrible luck, I'm sure I'll probably run into those figures this week for retail price.

 

Of course, four hours after I post this, Chosen Prime lists wave 2 in stock.

$14 to ship the 4 pack.. pfffff no thanks.

 

Thank goodness I had a few Bike Robos in my stash so I can get free shipping. I messaged them to send both orders out as soon as I placed my order, so now all I need is Walgreens Brainstorm and the TakTom versions of these guys as well.

 

Well at least some websites are starting to get them in. But I get mine through Amazon, Toys R Us, or Hasbrotoyshop sadly. Just. Got. To. Keep. Waiting...

 

ah lucky! I'm hoping to pick them up in person... they seem to be trickling into the retail chains quicker than the first wave did.

There's been a rumor on page 2 that these have a Hasbro-enforced "street date" of September 1 and none of the online retailers are allowed to list them until then.

 

Good thing I just need to wait for UW Computron to drop in my stash and ship wave 2 with it for free shipping  

 

I remember seeing that, and definitely find that weird if it's true. As of this moment though, my order hasn't been canceled and is in my stash, and my fingers are crossed that they'll ship them out just because they love me so much.  

 

Just got back from a Walgreens in OPL, no Titans Return. I crossed someone with a price gun and inquired about the UPC and that came up negative, too.

 

Everything is back up at TCP and BBTS has the wave two voyagers in stock as well as the set of four deluxes. The single deluxes are listed as preorders still.

 

BBTS has wave 2 in stock as a full set purchase.

 

Guess since others were breaking the street date they gave them the go ahead to list them. Like I said though they had them all in stock already and none were taking pre-orders ahead of time.
