Hey gang! Here's my Titans Return Fangry figure! I saw that just a few days ago, another customizer on this board, toretilo, posted their version of Fangry using the same base mold I was working on. So, here's my version! I took the Titans Return Twinferno and used the arms from the Cybertron Snarl figure. I had to trrim parts of the shoulder guard off the left arm so his wolf mane could fold down his back. The wolf head had to have some areas trimmed off so it would fit into the chest plate of the beast mode. A magnet was placed in the back of the wolf's head and some metal wire added to the wings, so they could be snapped together and mounted on his arm as a shield. Overall, I really like this guy - there's always room for improvement, but he'll look cool in my collection! Let me know what you guys think :)

You can check out my process video below, it shows off how the wings work (and check out my other customs)

Does the opening mouth gimmick still function? If so, is there room for a 5mm hole to allow for weapon posts?

Can the wings also be put on the back of the robot mode? Does your version allow the wolf head to sit flush with the rest of the beast mode?

    Very nice!

I see Fangry with his Mini-Me Titanmaster vehicle thingy... and now I want Doublecross to have a Mini-Me as well. That said... I think that's the one bit I do like about the TR concept now...The Headmasters should have at least one other body to use in case of damage... a tactical response of sorts, ya know?

Yeah, the mouth still opens and I've never tried, but I think a 5mm peg will fit in the jaw to hold a weapon. I half thought out adding a block or peg to the button to open the mouth so you didn't need a cyber key.

Yes, the wings can be left on the figure for robot mode, and during transformation.
The wolf head does look pretty flush withheld chest plate when you look at it frothy front view. I used Twinferno's upper arm for the wolf head arm because ithad more articulation than the Snarl arm.

I had this idea too that I wanted Hasbro to do. I would want Doublecross to be remolded so that the beast head goes on the robot's back instead of forming the arms, which would have been on the beast's back in beast mode.

I absolutely love how you did the wing-shield, the magnet and wire was a stroke of brilliance!

    Really good work!
When you said you were working on the same character and base figure, I didn't know you were also using the same wolf head  , bigger coincidence then. I can see you were not spying on me cause you used it differently :D . Clever use of it, by the way. Your take deviates a little from the G1 but it looks cool. And the making of video is a nice touch, I should do that one day, but too lazy.

This is awesome! I kind of want to try this now. Swapping out the arms scares me, I'll admit. But you did an awesome job! It looks great!

Thanks so much! So, the arms are actually pretty easy to swap - the pins seemed to come out pretty easily and then the Snarl arms fit into the Twinferno figure with just a little bit of sanding, etc.

Thanks! I managed to snag the Grotusque exclusive figure, so I'll have another version of this mold in a pink!
