Arise Trypticon Prime.
Is Perceptor going to light our darkest hour?
No wonder his voice sounded so familiar. So..does this mean Menasor is now entered the realm of the black bro bots of Jazz, Blaster, and Bulkhead?
Agreed. This series is the Transformers: Energon of its time.
I laughed hared than I should have at Trypticon's head in city mode.
I'm sorry but that weaponized tumor on Max's leg will never look cool.
I do like this series a lot, but as it goes on into this I am feeling that they spend to much time doing simple things. Like when Trypticon transforms. There\'s this big dramatic scene that they could of used to spend more time telling the story rather than actually on that. It\'s a little annoying that they\'ve put so much time and money into a scene like that when they could of expanded more on the story of an episode. I\'m still curious and going to be watching the next one. I really want to know what is going on with Perceptor and the matrix, but also Hotrod and Overlord. Also because of this I ended up purchasing the titans return FM and Trypticon lol. Anyway, I think it\'s a great story so far, they\'re just taking their time telling it. Next episode please.
It\'s funny how even Machinima sees Victorion as useless and only making things worse.
Dashie is really holding back on his performance as Menasor. I\'ve seen his rage videos, I KNOW he can scream.
\"This is ridiculous.\" Well, it\'s still better than Combiner Wars.
Trypticon is no match for Fortress Maximus’ helipad ankle gun!!!!!
I still say that at least Energon (might have) brought in new fans, which even this can't do.
But that just reminds me of another issue with this series: They're not showing Trypticon or Fort Max transforming... when there are toys that are capable of showing them how. They should know how to transform them. It just screams of laziness. Ya wanna pad out the episode so bad? Have a big transformation sequence for these two! You (probably) have the darn toys for that very purpose!
And even with the movies, they never had full-blown 3D toys to figure out how the transformation work. What's the friggin' excuse for this show?
"This is ridiculous!" - This series in a nutshell
I can't even.
Now we have Trypticon Prime The Ultimate Combiner?!... sure, ok, whatever.
I know right?! All I could think of during that scene was, "Wow! Fort Max is holding off Trypticon's main weapon with that piddly little thing? Imagine if he used his other weapons. Or if he had his main waist cannons like the G1 toy. Then this fight would be over already."
Ditto. And a Victorion one too. Although I'd go with just a solid plastic and then do paint apps on top to give it that sparkly galaxy look. If you Google "airbrush galaxy", there's some cool tutorials on how to easily make amazing looking galaxy effects. I'm sure Hasbro could figure out some way to simplify it and make it mass producible.
Lol i thought the same thing
Forced amputation is better than Combiner Wars. Titans Return is still tremendously awful.
Still a better prime than Hot Rod.
Transforming? In Transformers?
Oh, please, Hasbro hasn't given a shit about that crap in its media for years and you can thank the movies for that.
So Victorion says that the "super combiner" form is depleted of energy yet the moment Trypticon eats her its instantly recharged. Okay.
I'm tempted to also call bullshit on the mind control but IDW did it first. Still dumb though. If the Enigma just controlled their bodies that'd be fine since it can do that already. It shouldn't effect their mind.
And can Fort Max seriously not step on them or at least kick them?
Because it's now powered by Trypticon.
I feel like I'm the only one enjoying this series. I was never expecting perfection particularly after Combiner Wars. But it has in fact been better than CW was for pacing. Super Barney Mode is laughable yes, as are the combiners. I'm just taking it for face value not having to pay for it entertainment.
