Pounce and Fastlane set will be an Amazon exclusive.

Wingspan and Cloudraker set will be a Walgreens Exclusive.

The fact that WS and CR are Walgreens exclusives makes me very happy. Brainstorm wasn't hard to find in stores and has been readily available on their website for a while now.

They already have the Amazon set since they got the two boxed sets from TRU and BBTS, so only need to look for the Walgreens set.

 

Yep and wingspan and cloudraker are the two i need as I got the other two in the boxsets

 

I'll go on record here: If I find this two pack I'll trade Cloudraker for Pounce straight up.

 

Just wanted to make sure that they understood that there are two sets and Amazon AND Walgreens are the retailers.

So conflicted on whether I want the set or not. They both just look so good.

 

This also tells me that the other two rumored 5 figure box sets aren't off the table. They never were.

Why? Pounce and Fastlane were originally in the 5 figure box sets and they're still getting this 2-pack release.

So why should Wingspan and Cloudraker be any different?

Wouldn't "Pounce" who's already part of that BBTS exclusive set be a breech of contract then? Not that I'd be complaining since he's the only one in that BBTS set that I really wanted anyway.

 

Well, between the boxset and these being a friggin' Amazon exclusive (screw you, shipping costs), I'll stick to whatever TakaraTomy decides to serve up.

I'm so damn sick of exclusives, I swear. No, I'm not paying $100 (that's NZD, before anyone says it's not $100) for Nautica - why can't I just buy her separately for a regular price? Ugh. I doubt I'm skilled enough to make my own, either, though I suppose I could try.

And seriously, Walgreens exclusives are insane. I was looking to buy TR Brainstorm the other day and it's super-expensive - I literally paid the same price for the Legends version as I'd have paid to get Hasbro's version off of eBay. Geez...

I hate stalking my local Walgreens... They always look at me suspiciously when I walk in to check for a figure and walk out empty handed...

 

Yay!  So it will not be that hard to get these sets!  Though I still need the bigger boxsets for some of the other characters like Nautica.

Seriously Brainstorm was a pain in the ass to obtain and every Walgreens I drove out of the way to didn't have him. I mean eventually he was up for order on their website and recently I stopped at one Walgreens who eventually got him and he is the only TF they sell but I might as well wait for Cloudraker/Wingspan to go up on their website. Screw you Walgreens, screw you distributors.

 

Tell me about it! Their Toy section is worse than K-Mart's. But I wouldn't be surprised if they're the first to release Wave 5's Deluxe TR's in the US. Only problem is that they're normally 20 bucks a pop. This exclusive Twin set will probably be around $25.

The good news is that I won't have to pay $100+ for that BBTS exclusive just to have Pounce. I just sell off the Fastlane figure I got with the TRU set.
