Today, I finally opened my 6" Titanium WWI Thundercracker after having it for a bout a month. Once he was out of the packaging, I noticed something odd about him. Upon looking closer, I realized that he won't be doing any dancing because he literally has two left feet/legs. So, my question is: Did he get designed this way on purpose? Or, did my Thundercracker get assembled by an idiot at the factory? Anyone else have this problem, or am I the only one?
It sounds like the didgy QC strikes again! Take him back to the store and see if you can get an exchange. The legs pop off at the upper leg swivel, so I'd imagine when they made him at the factory the wrong leg was attached.
Unfortunately, it came from Toys R Us and I'm not sure where the receipt is. And, the store is about a hundred miles away. Although, now that I know it was put together wrong, I may just buy another one up here (at home) and take this one back in it's place for a refund.
That's what I usually do. I got a alt Mirage that has several paint chips on the white stripes and after a few months I spotted a Mirage with much better paint job so I bought that one and use the same receipt to return the earlier one. Works every time.
I havent opened any of my Titaniums yet! I really love the packaging so far, and since I dont normally keep boxes unless its with a MISB toy I've been putting it off.
