Titanium Soundwave or Classics Megatron, or maybe Cybertron Prime?

Gonna go down to K-Mart tonight, and since the last time I was there the only movie stuffs they had was the protoforms and Scorponok (who I picked up) I decided I'll get one of the OTHER figures they had I was thinking of getting (sadly they had no alternators ;_;) .

They had both Titanium Soundwave and Classics Megatron (I think they may have had Cybertron Prime, though I am not sure).

So really it is between one of those two (three?) figures. Just wondering what you all think.

Classics Megs, hands down. One purchase I have ZERO regrets for.

It's the general consensus of the boards that Titanium Soundwave is wobbly trash.

The Classics Megatron is a great, if oddly-colored, representation of the classic character, while Cybertron Prime is quite highly-regarded as well.

Yeah, I think I remember a video of Soundwave saying he has tons of problems standing, which is one of the reasons I had held off on him.

They might also have Classics Jetfire (that may have been TRU though, so I am not sure)..is he any good? Main reason I ask is that I'd think a jet has a bit more playability in alt mode than a gun.

Most likely will get Megs though, as I have heard a fair bit of good about him.

Jetfire kicks ass. Another purchase I have no regrets for. And I had to order online/pay shipping, so even at $5 more, it was worth it.

Thanks for the input, probably gonna be leaving in a few minutes, so I'll let you all know what I end up with (doubt their stock changed much if at all).

    Classics Jetfire, if not, Megatron.

    You will never regret it!

That's Kmart for ya. I picked through an OPENED case of LOCs there... And they were dusty. Like they had been there, OPENED for a while, but untouched.

I have Titanium Soundwave and while I wouldn't recommend it over the other figures suggested, I would like to say that there is a way to mistransform the feet so he's a LOT more stable; rather than folding the speaker and the frame around it out, just fold the speaker out 90 degrees (despite this, I almost always display him in Tape Deck mode).
I'd recommend Cybertron Prime simply because I love the design (I have no experience with the toy, I just think Prime looks really cool in Cybertron) and Classics Megatron is a shellbot which I don't really like.

Yeah, the stock didn't change (at all)..which I figured would be the case.

No Classics Jetfire (that was TRU now that I think about it), no Cybertron Prime (or any Cybertron figures). They just had a couple protoforms, some voice changers (both versions, almost got the Cullen one, but I decided not to [plus I wouldnt have had the funds for it]), and the blasters.

Anyways, yeah I picked up Classics Megs. Haven't transformed him yet but his gun mode is nice, like the clicky trigger. He's the only classics figure I've bought and so far no disappointment in him. Gonna transform him and see how bot mode is.

Was a bit easier to transform than I had thought, but was a fairly fun transformation none the less.

Nice figure overall, good bot mode..looks fairly Megatron-ish (colors make me think more Galvatron than Megs though..).

Definitely was worth picking up though.

If you liked Classics Megatron, I would definitely recomend tracking down that Jetfire you saw, whenever you get the chance (if you can still find him). Jetfire was widely regarded as one of the coolest Classics figures.

Once I get my hands on 08 Bumblebee and Leader Megs, the next time I have cash I'll see about finding him.

Get jetfire... Bee will be around for a while, and will be heavily saturated due to the high case ratio..

Jetfire is an absolute must-have. I personally didn't like Megatron until I customized him to my G1 taste.
