i got titanium soundwave the other day (i dont mind the mega nappy thing he has ) but i am however dissapointed that the legs keep collapsing down if you know what i mean. is mine faulty or is this toy really that badly designed because it really puts me off other titaanium figures.

G1 soundwave is not only more realistic and more show-accurate than the tit, but with a pair of pliers and thirty seconds time, he's more posable.

You have to be willing to break parts off. It's worth it, though.

Just score, snap and sand. I did it to a junker and it looked so good I'm gonna do it to the re-ish, too.

It the fact that G1 Soundwave was a fantastic design, why did they change it? And then the legs have 2 collapse points when they could have done it with 1? I can't figure it out.

If it wasn't for the nappy and legs he'd be awesome. Well, good. I thought Titanium Rodimus Prime was pretty sweet, right until I got Classics Rodimus. Now Prime is merely 'alright'.

But I guess the Tfing Titaniums are better than the little statues... which I can't see the point of in all honesty.

i was going to get it... until the mp3 player was anounced!

until then, cybertron soundwave, should go nicely with them.

and the laserbeak looks better anyways.

    thing

The thing I keep wondering when I see the 6 inch is if you can some how shave off the access then reassemble him.

I have not seen it in person so I have no clue how vital it is in the transformation.

I think Takara bribed the Titanium designers to take a dive on Soundwave, so more people would drop eighty bucks on their MP3-playing toy. :)

I used clear nail polish on the legs and the connectors to the waist. helped a bit, he stands good now.

Someone already did that in another thread, dunno where it is though. But yeah, I think he said after sanding /cutting off the excess, the crotch assembly wanted to come apart, but that was fixed by a little glue.

There were pics of him in both modes... I may do that myself.

That's very, very unlikely. But it fits so well, I can't discount the possibility.

The rest of it is a distinct clue here.

Sadly, the legs are riveted together, so I haven't figured out a way to get them apart and fix the looseness. It would be so easy to do if they were screwed together. You could try coating a little super glue onto the sliding parts, but that would most likely make a big mess and look like crap.
