    TITANIUM SERIES TRANSFORMERS CYBERTRON HEROES

(Approximate Retail Price: $15.99; Ages: 4 & up; Available: Now)

In 2007, the ongoing battle between the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS will escalate as the TITANIUM SERIES TRANSFORMERS CYBERTRON HEROES are joined by a variety of iconic Transformers. These hefty 6-inch figures made a splash in the TITANIUM SERIES line with the introduction of MEGATRON and OPTIMUS PRIME in 2006. Each figure in the line is made of fully forged metal and changes completely into its alternative, disguised identity.

Yeah, but it's a re-launch which should mean they'll be back at Targets (and anywhere else that dropped them) in the future.

I remember looking at a listing on Wal-Marts computer for a "Forged Heroes" set I wonder if "Heroes" is the next line after the movie? I guess we will find out at 2pm.

I take it as meaning they are going to do G1 versions.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

i still find them at wal*mart regularly...but they were never plentiful. The crappy 1st wave killed their chances I think with retailers. They should have started the line with the better characters like Rodimus Prime and Scourge not the two terds that started it.

I'd say so. There's plenty of non-G1 iconic character. Waspinator, Cheetor, Primus, Fallen, etc. Plus non-G1 versions of G1 guys a la WW or the more homage type characters from later lines, they're still pretty iconic.

I saw the words "Fully Forged" and "Alternate Form" and it makes me think they might be trying to live up to the word Titaniums.
