I want to get him to go with my Universe Cyclonus, but I've never heard anything that positive about the 6" Titaniums. Is Scourge worth a buy? I'm not going to drop $150 on the BotCon Scourge when I already own that basic mold.
waitin for him and 25th prime to go on sale. the only two titaniums i absolutely HAD to HAVE the moment i saw them were the fallen and grimlock (yes, i know you guys dont like him. and yeah, he's flimsy. had to get him though.) other than that, $20 for a figure which more often than not has poor paint apps and flimsy joints, is redonkulus. anyone have a guess at when this gen of titanium's is going on clearance if ever?
Would love to see a universe3.0 version of Scourge. I'm gonna wait and see, would like to see him match Galvatron + Cyclonus.
If it's not going to be a pain in the ass for you to get him, then do so. It is possible that we might get him in Classic 3.0, but at least the Titanium one is tangible right now.
ya i have the 3 together. the only titanium i think i NEVER saw was the g1 magnus i saw and bought EVERY other good looking one. my local target got all of them sept g1 magnus.
Mold looks ok, but I don't really care for the titaniums. I've got the Botcon Scourge and sweeps incoming.
I'm not sure what you're talking about. Scourge isn't on store shelves and (for the most part) shouldn't have been for years. He's not part of the Target exclusive Tit wave.
Titanium Scourge is definitely one of the best in the line. If you find him for a good price, I would definitely go for it!
Scourge is a really solid figure that looks great with Classics toys like Cyclonus and Galvatron (hell, of the three, Galvy is the one that really looks out of place). As a Titanium he doesn't have really great articulation (legs are fine, arms are okay but have a couple places that pop off easily, neck and waist are fixed), but he's one of the most solidly built figures in that line - nothing here is prone to falling off randomly and the diecast isn't in a place that greatly hampers him as a toy. Transformation is ridiculously simple, but he looks very G1 accurate in both modes. My only real complaint was that he's unarmed, but I was able to fix that easily enough with a spare 1/144 Gundam fist and gun. I'd definitely recommend this guy over the Botcon one, which, frankly, just looks like a blue Sideways to me.
I can't believe people like this figure? Titanium Scourge SUCKS! He also looks too short to even display with Cyclonus, his arms always fall off, and he goes for stupidly high prices. Do NOT buy him, wait for a new version
I got that Scourge figure in a lot last summer and just recently put him on the Universe shelf next to Galvatron and Cyclonus. He looks fine. Plus, Titanium is technically a part of Universe now with the recent Target wave, so I don't feel like I'm messing up the order. (Hot Zone went on the G1 Universe Autobot shelf.)
