Previously unrevealed until this database entry Bludgeon was scheduled for release in the 6 inch titanium line in 2008. The existence of this figure comes from a 2007 Hasbro document listing Transformers Titanium figures planned for release in 2008. Unfortunately this has been canceled along with the rest of the line.

That would have been sweet, as long as it wasn't another Megatron tank repaint like in RiD.

That's interesting. I wander what design they would have gone with if the line hadn't died. It could have been really cool. While I'm not going to put any hope into this happening, it would be interesting to have them take the design they would have used on this, and make it in the Universe line (that would depend on how far in the design process they were, and it's highley unlikely). If anything the designs that almost got to the mold making process would have a better chance of being made (though even that's not likely to happen).

That would have been awesome. *sigh* I wonder if it was similar to the a G1 Pretender.

    Life no longer has meaning.
Unless they use it for a Classics 2.0 figure.

Probably would've been a repaint of one of the Megatron molds.

WWI Grimlock and now Bludgeon...boo. What are they thinking? G1 Magnus is such a cool figure, hell, cancel the movie figures and pump out the titanium line!

No big deal, I'm still glad the line is gone. Every one I bought was a gigantic disappointment. They should've all been done by the actual TF team and Takara engineered, but oh well.

My understanding is that it would have been a new mold, based on Don's War Within designs. So heavily inspired by the G1 but with a bit of the new. Like a lot of the other War Within characters that were worked into the line.

I can't say that I was disappointed with every one of them (I really enjoyed the later ones, like Rodimus, Fallen and G1 Magnus), however I do agree with you that the line was sometimes a bit below par. Perhaps it was because at the time we had an awesome couple of main lines (Cybertron and then Classics) which were some of the best TFs ever designed at that point so anything would pale in comparison.

It was a good series, though not one without its failings.

Eesh. Not the GIJoe one, I'd hope. And I don't think the WW mold would've really fit Bludgeon.

I could see a remold of The Fallen working, though.

I'm still disappointed the line ended just because it gave us figures from the comics we never got before. I'm still holding out hope that we might get a Hearts of Steel Bumblebee figure one day. :(

I'm so glad that the titanium line is toast. They should keep these ideas for a new TF Universe line or somthing, bludgeon would have made a cool titamium, but and even cooler "real" toy.

They need to release that in the new Classics line along with the new Cosmos they showed us.

For Bludgeon fans I feel bad. It sucks when a character you like gets shafted.

Personally though I hated the Titanium line. A total waste of time and resources and some of the worst TF toys I've ever seen. I was happy to see it go. As for Bludgeon, I just never cared for the guy, so meh all around.

I totally agree...if Hasbro did these designs as actual real toys (in refference to how classics were made) and gave them to Takara to engineer it would have been killer....I still hope that they do this for the Universe line...because WWI was badass on all levels
