Oh my, this looks so... Well, if I didn't know it was part of some Transformers universe, I certainly would have thought it to be something not related to anything at all. This is just bad, and this is coming from a guy who honestly and sincerely doesn't mind if a character is changed dramatically from G1 (TFA Prowl, Optimus, etc., and even the TFM iterations of each of those characters - ultimately all pretty fun and great).

Derrick Wyatt and his staff should be left to design this universe in my opinion. Not that ideas from outside are bad or not necessary, just that this... "take"... is not palatable to me.

Yeah, have to agree that Animated shouldn't be compared to G1 (or any other incarnation for that matter), but that really doesn't help this being a really really really horrible design. It's just bad and hopefully one of the later seasons of Animated actually gives us a good Sideswipe design (doesn't have to be G1 inspired either as Prowl is probably one of my favorite Animated characters and he looks nothing like his G1 self).

I think you read it wrong the words below the new villian are 'Bee Mail' not 'Bee Man' and I'm pretty sure they aren't even in reference to his name

Okay... looking at him again... I can't even begin to guess what he actually transforms into... is he a go-cart or something? And what's with the hockey mask and stick?

The thing looks liek a cross between a deformed FLASH and a MIGHTY DUCK.

I'm glad the person designing this is not on the TFA show team.

I'm convinced this is a human villian and NOT A ROBOT. He has no robot parts, none of the Animated robot design, and all the symptoms of a HUMAN.

He's fucking gross, but as a human villian it actually works.

Well, prowl does have some of his G1 self in his design, most noticable are the doors/wings/boosters and the crest on his forehead.

 

this may be the first animated character that i think the movie version is better

I for one really dig the design! Something about it just screams bad-ass to me.

Wow. Total Failure. Thats a completely awful design, its neither beautiful or so ugly it's endearing. Horrible horrible design. I hope he is comic book only and never graces the beauty that is the Animated cartoon.
