Hey, got a question. Alongside Titans Return Six Shot, which is a figure I'm trying to track down as it's very close to being one of my 3 holy grails, I've been wondering. I'm trying to figure out what to prioritize getting the most. Of the following, which should I ultimately go after: Takara Age of Extinction Jolt, Generations Jetfire, Animated Rodimus, Transmetal Tarantulas, Alternators Smokescreen, Takara Super Starscream/Armada Thundercracker, Generations SkyByte, and or Vector Prime?

I'd say Transmetal Tarantulas, but I'm quite biased towards BW figures.

I'd say either TM Tarantulas like DBNuts voted or Animated Rodders because he's effin frikking cool.

Takara Super Screamer is ACE though... Urgh. Oh hell, I say Animated Rodders.

    Also, I'm fine.

the new guys look good together.

TR cosmos unfortunately doesn't get his little partner payload, but he's replacing my broken T30 cosmos so he got his payload.

cosmos has a little more clearance around his head, so he's a bit of a bobble-head in both his modes.
his vehicle mode "docking port" is a tad loose too, quite a contrast with the T30 cosmos whose port is so tight it"s almost impossible to plug something in.
still, he's a great pocket transformer.

seaspray has no real issue aside from his very visible head.
i like his boxy body and giant hoverboots, i can only imagine him "skating" around everywhere on them.

I guess making a set with all Autobots didn't allow for a lot of fighting.

My open TR collection. Have 7 additional unopened figures. Im having a hard time with kup and 6 shot lol and probably going to end up opening them at some point.

I'm doing pretty good., I promised myself I wouldn't go too overboard with TR after probably spending close to 700-800 bucks on combiner wars:eek:  20170519_163322.jpg

IMG_3784.JPG Signs of hope for Wave 4 in my area! Picked up Roadburn and Brawn at my local Target this morning. Already got Broadside and Sky Shadow but still no love for the Deluxe Class figures anywhere near me. But these little guys are pretty awesome!

Vector Prime is one of my all time favorite figures, so I'd suggest him, but I'd insist on picking up the Japanese Galaxy Force version (not to be confused with the Hasbro Galaxy Force repaint) because it has one of the best decos of any Transformers figure ever made and the Hasbro version just pales in comparison. It's a little pricier, but it's seriously worth the price.

If I may, I would recommend Generations Jetfire. One of the coolest jet modes ever for a Transformer, very close to G1 without going full Robotech. Bot Mode feels closer to the animation style, IMO, but the jet mode feels closer to the G1 toy style. Interesting and satisfying fusion of both styles though not on the nose like the 3rd party Phoenix figure. Cool transformation and bot mode as well. I would suggest getting the Takara version though. The paint apps they use on his weapons blend better with both modes than the gaudy looking chrome used in the Hasbro version. Too bad too cause I usually like chrome. It's a little more expensive but aesthetically better IMO.

Oh, good, I'm not the only one who has gone overboard with these. This is my first time army building and I was afraid I was doing it wrong. More is more, I see that now. :D

You're going to be neck deep in Sweep heads if you're planning on getting as many of the Takara version. Which is something I'd like to see. A pile of Sweep heads. And Whirl sitting on them. ;)

Finally got a box of new bots, so some quick thoughts:

Seaspray - always nice to see more water craft, even with huge feet.
Roadburn - doesn't tab together quite as well as my BB. That 'stache though!
Brawn - really wish his noggin wasn't so exposed in alt mode.

Kup - Utterly fantastic and unexpected transformation, and I love the colors.
Quake - Initially wasn't interested, but you folks convinced me of his glory!
Topspin - Another great transformation, eagerly awaiting his brother releasing.
Preceptor - Pretty weak deluxe, as neither alt mode wows me or tabs together tightly.

Broadside - Solid bot mode, uninteresting jet mode, and the carrier mode would be boring, but the micro aerialbots make it a high point.
