Let's be honest, he isn't THAT bad. He has crippling design flaws but as a display piece he's fine.

 

The shoulders are fixable. The spring-loaded pop up head is... sort of fixable. Yeah, you can pull the spring out, but you also need to shove a bit of paper or something to add friction to the slide so the head stays in place.

But yeah, if Megatron is as good as people say, then I look forward to getting my hands on TR Blitzwing.

 

Yeah. But I like to touch my Transformers.

 

His proportions are pretty wack too (mostly heads large). I have no compunctions about replacing him with the TR version...

 

I'd just try and unscrew the head and fix it that way.

 

There are a pair of upgrade kits that each fix the shoulders and give a spare head. Never got 'em, but they look cool.

 

My 3rd custom/repaint...amazing what a little can of paint tape and patience can do!

Nope. We didn't even see it until it appeared in the Allspark Almanac after the series had been cancelled.

You can also swap the thighs and hands from highbrow if you are worried about the paint wearing

 

Im sure the hip area will rub and I kinda wish i did not paint those contact areas, but thats ok he will be displayed in bot mode.

 

Yea, I swapped the thighs, toes and hands on mine so I could have a scourge that is different from his sweeps (who are stock hasbro scourges)
