there is also a better colored Dr Wu Hammer that shows up from time to time on ebay.
I didn't actually expect answers. Thanks. Alas, I searched eBay and didn't find what I needed. Started last night. Unfortunately don't do third party accessories, too, and that Wu hammer looks to big for my Voyager project anyway. Might just have to find a Magnus to steal from.
the hammer works well for voyagers, especially Prime Magnus. Also, check Shapeways. If you don't need it to specifically be the forge of solus prime, there is a pretty good hammer that I got for my Afterburner figure (please excuse the wrong transformation)
Titans Return Quickswitch is really appreciating his new red hat!
Thanks to the Dr. Wu Upgrade set I had the appropriate helmet in white to dye red!
Now it's red all the way through, baby!
Though even with a double dip the hinge has resisted a bit (it got protected by the top being open for first dip), there's a w-shape of paleness across it.
The camera is a bit kind to it as it's more noticeable by eye but I'll take that over rubbing-off paint over teal plastic though! SORTED!
looks good, though personally i went with the g1 accurate shapeways helmet
That elusive factory finish, mate, I needs it! We covets the smoothy-sheen we does!
haha fair enough i do wish 3d printed stuff was smoother right out of the gate
Need the Forge specifically for the Titans Return project. That eBay doesn't have Magnus's hammer puts a pretty big snag to said custom. Will have to explore other venues, it seems.
If you have access to a 3D printer, there's this model up on Thingiverse:
Magnus Hammer by DaKlush
I tried printing it at work a couple of years ago but the printer wasn't up to handling the details at the top of the handle, so make sure you use a decent, well-configured printer.
After a few suggestions, i was able to track down a Shuffler and Apeface. Both look great! Thanks for the help guys
Well there is one shapeways item that looks like the Beast Hunter version of the hammer but jesus the things costs more then buying BH Magnus.
You could try putting in a request for Magnus or even just the hammer at Transformerland. Last one they sold was in the $20 range.
Look up Kotobukiya Weapon Units. There's one that comes with a nice, thick hammer head that attaches to a universal handle.
The sets usually run around $10.
Is that site safe? Like, it's probably okay if someone here suggested it but have been screwed out of a package by TFSource in the past.
How big is this in total, and it can be held by Transformers without modding? If I don't get the accessory, however, the accessory should at least resemble a forging hammer considering the character in question for the custom is to wield the Forge of Solus Prime.
Also, do you remember what the set may be called?
What a difference a retool makes...
Yeah Transformerland is legit. Bought from Matt many times without issue.
You could also build one if you can't find the official. Found this thread through google just to give you an example: Heavy/Scratch: - Forge Of Solus Prime
Are there any action figures — or even figurines — that are the same height as Titanmasters?
I find myself wanting some humans for my little Titanmasters to interact with when they're not in head mode.
I get the impression that Diaclone Dianauts are too small, and Mega Bloks/Contrux minifigures are too big. Thoughts?
(I dunno if this has been asked before. It probably has, but I can't find it. Apologies if I'm being repetitive.)
I think the MP human pack-ins are all too big, unfortunately.
I don't have either of these (patiently waiting for Outback to arrive in my area), but I think Outback looks a lot better. Colors just seem better, if that makes sense. Brawn does have the advantage of a mini-Brawn to carry around though.
lego minifigs are close.
if they where properly proportioned they would scale perfectly, but they're a bit too wide and have a really big head.
