Well, LG50 arrived, and I am seriously impressed.
While not really liking the purple used on the legs, as it SHOULD have been darker, the rest if the figure is practically immaculate. All the joints are tight, the colors really pop and the resculpted head is impressive. The only quibble is that the eyes aren't painted that crisply, but that's kind of a known issue and easily rectified.
The last Takara figure I got was MB Shockwave, which was a floppy mess and not worth the money. Sixshot more than makes up for that one.

For all the years I've been collecting, this is the first time I made a multiple item pre-order. (which I did back at the beginning of the summer too!)
Gonna be a fun Tuesday evening!

Can someone tell me how you extend the cannons on Trypticon? I accidentally threw out the instructions.

Got my shipment of the recent Legends releases.

Octane is really cool, but I think the Hasbro deco, despite having the awful stickers, might be a bit better. I guess it's a fair trade-off, to also get the added Starscream headmaster though.

Perceptor is really nice. I guess not much different from Hasbro's release but I got him mostly for the Ramhorn titan master vehicle and the added paint to the headmaster.

Bumblebee looks nice, despite the two tones of yellow. While the clear plastics does wonders for his aesthetic, that clear plastic kinda scares me. Speaking of scary, I still can't get over Spike's face. He's a nice addition that will go well with the Daniel titan master, but he still looks creepy.

Slugslinger gave me a bit of a scare. I found his headmaster port not attached to his body and sitting loose inside his cockpit. Had to do some cutting and gluing to get it situated in its proper place. Definitely a big disappointment, especially since I had been lucky not to face any of the previously reported Takara Tomy QC issues. Ultimately though I am pleased with the figure and am very happy to have a proper team of Decepticon targetmasters.

Funny. I got the exact same shipment today too. :)

Bumblebee is AWESOME in my opinion; although I echo the same sentiment about the clear plastic. In fact, I snapped off the front part a few times when transforming it; it just falls off if I'm not careful. Still love the figure though; it looks SO Bumblebee-ee-ish? :/

I will say, we all know I LOVE my Takara, and I shower them with SOOO MUCH QC praise.....so it pains me to admit this.....but, my Octane came with one unpainted wheel! LOL

It was simple and quick fix with my Sharpie paint marker, but that's besides the point I guess. All else is magnificent with the figure; great tabbing.

I've had that part come off on my Hasbro Bumblebee almost every time I've transformed him. It's definitely a scarier occurrence with the clear plastic on the Takara one.

He's much better looking than the Hasbro release for sure in any case. If I didn't still prefer the Classics mold, this Legends Bumblebee would be the main Bumblebee in my collection.
