Grotosque is a joy. It occurred to me that I had all three Monsterbots now since I'd bought the Fanshobby one a bit ago. Hopefully Hasbro will get around to doing a Titans Return Repugnus someday but these look oddly like a proper group.

Either I missed it totally, or I'm surprised no one has done this before.

I'll admit, while I like Blitzwing, I'm not a fan of the head. On my particular copy, the ball joint that's both modes neck joint is super lose (and the screw turn didn't help as it has for others) and like so many others, the super bright yellow along with the glossy dark purple face doesn't quite do it for me. I'll admit, due to my own personal preferences, I prefer a "harder" Sci-fi take for my Transformers, and I just can't see Blitzwing having a bright yellow "Shoot me here!" helmet. So, there's another option:

Plus Animated had a brown/khaki helmet, so there's even a precedent for it.

Has anyone created a longer replacement for Blitzwing's tank barrel yet?

you can just stick a drinking straw on it.
a medium size straw fits perfectly.

Actually Misfire would be better for diversions cause he'd just shoot randomly.
You can count on Triggerhappy to hit the all the marks in a shootout, he just wouldn't be good at stealthy missions cause he'd start shooting without order or warning.
Slugslinger would be great at stealthy missions or a a sharpshooter well hidden and safe from retaliation.

It's been an emotional rollercoaster with these clones. I was quite excited when we saw those first boxset photos. Then I saw the price tag, including getting them to the UK, and decided that actually I could do quite happily without them. Turns out I couldn't do without Metalhawk and Nautica though. And then if you've already committed to half the clones then you might as well get the other two, right?

    This hobby!
Anyway, no regrets and no repent. These are wonderful little figures and a real treat to see Hasbro try out something a little different. Let's hope that any surprises in PotP aren't such a smack in the wallet.
