There are two way s to see this... a comically small aircraft carrier OR Misfire can mass shift to a massive space cruiser LIKE A BOSS.
The later is actually real fun to pretend.

But those carriers, Tidal wave and Broadside work great for the Titan master/ Legion sized figures. I only have Broadside but I load him up with 3 - 5 Pteros, Seaspray on one side, Titan Master all over for a cool little Autobot task force.

 

I didn't realize that some of those CW figs had cards. I felt kinda sad when the switched over to comics instead of the cards. I might have to revisit some of those CW figs when they go on deeper discount.

Do you own hardhead? As a standalone he's fine and I love the colors. I personally have no attachment to the character do he's a fine background decepticon warrior for Galvy to boss around

from what I can find tidal wave's toy is just horribly out of scale, he's supposed to be almost city-bot sized.

broadside on the other hand is a mass shifter, thanks to the power of blunderbuss.
without his titan master he'd indeed be barely big enough to carry just 1 small bot, but with help from blunderbuss he becomes as big as a small city.
