I really don't need all of those Reprolabels but I would love to get the Autobot symbol and windows.

 

we'll probably get them at some point, just not now. If Hasbro said "we're never going to make ______" then be pissed, but the characters you want could always be released in PotP or a future generations line. Titans return is doing well, whose to say that after the prime trilogy when they hopefully just go back to a gimmick-less CHUG-like line again that they wont throw us a combiner limb or a targetmaster or a titan master here and there

I understand your disappointment. I was hoping to get not only the three Autobot Targetmasters, the Decepticon Horrocons, Eject, Frenzy (Blue Rumble) and Ratbat but also Grotesque. And has their been any confirmation of what figures are in Wave 6 for the Legends, Voyager and Leader size classes? Do we know for sure who Slugslinger's wave mates are? There may be some surprises instore for wave 6 that we don't know. At least that is my hope.

Honestly they could pair Scorponok with anything because I don't really care about what version of Scorponok I'd have.

Say, a Sunstreaker from the Chromedome mold.

Yep, very much legitimate. I don't believe con exclusives usually do find their way to retail release (happy to be proved wrong, of course)? [Edit: it may be released later through HasbroToyShop? Either way, probably not going to hit mass retail.]

I'm not personally that bothered: I have three figs from that mold already. Generations Arcee will fit the bill well enough for me.

A good handful of SDCC exclusives (and not just Hasbro) make it to other retailers (usually Toys R Us), and HasCon is the first of its kind.

Plus, the article goes out of its way to say "early access", which, considering the accompanying TF exclusive to Arcee is that Optimus Prime battery, it's implied they'll see some wider release outside of Hascon.

 

Good to know. There's definitely a demand for this figure, so it would be a shame to limit to attendees only.
