So, it's the season of 150 million charities looking for your money. Do you donate to any? If so, which? For the Holiday's I always donate to Toys for Tots. In April, I donate to MS research. And year round I'll donate to veterans charities when they're out and about. They had the Disabled Vet folks outside Walmart the other day, and have Vet's in my family, I always donate out of respect. What about you folks?
I donate to Children's Miracle Network, Toys for Tots, and Children's Hospitals of Alabama; I spent a lot of time there (CH) when I was younger with severe asthma, and was hospitalized and nearly died there when I was 4.
We do contribute throughout the year to (in no particular order): American Cancer Society Lupus research (I think it's the Lupus Foundation of America) Point Reyes National Seashore (a U.S. National Park) My wife's church Goodwill (household goods and clothing) The only seasonally specific charity that I can think of offhand is Toys For Tots.
Usually out of force or otherwise I do some crap for Make a Wish... I have a bunch of stuff to give to Goodwill, but haven't had the time.
I will not give money to charities under any circumstances. I do donate toys, food, coats, and clothes though.

oh yeah, i forgot that i donate old clothing to animal shelters too...they use it to make bedding and whatever else the animals need and thats pretty freaking sweet....
We donate to Animal defense League, sponsor some of the kiddos in my agency, donate to cancer, diabetes, and kidney research and I usually donate blood every 3 months.
