...Bills toys & games or Big Bad toy store or TFsource or what?

I'm tired of scouring the stores for an Alternators Optimus Prime and I figured I'd pick up an Alternators Mirage as well.

Who's the fastest in terms of delivery? Who has the best correspondence? I'm checking the prices now.

    Opinions? Advice? Fish?

well the problem is you're not gonna get one from either of them right now.. if you buy you'll have to wait for the next shipment which is supposedly later in july (probably end of the month at best) then tack on another week of it shipping to you. so who knows, you might find one in retail before then, especially since he JUST had his first official retail sighting TODAY. :)

    BBTS.

TFSource are also good, but IIRC they don't do Hasbro TFs.

Yes, I know I didn't mention the other dealer.

Quits TFs to go search for a better life.

I've just used Big Bad and TFSource, but both were great. I'd worry more about prices and availability.

I use BBTS. Some prices can be steep but "pile of loot' is very good.

TFsource doesn't carry alt prime, so that sort of seals it wouldn't you say. ]

however that said I recommend Digital Toys, http://www.digital-toys.com/transformers.html he should have more instock by the 4th. BBTS is out of stock too, so just look at who has cheaper shipping to where you are.

Whatever you do, do NOT order from Bill.

And I'll sing the prasies of BBTS till the day I die. Prices are as reasonable as online stores get, and the customer service is outstanding.

I ordered a figure. My account was debited and I was told the figure was shipped. Fast forward a couple months, and no figure. Or responses to all the e-mails I sent asking about the figure.

The lack of figure is one thing. I can understand that it may be lost in the mail or something, but to completely ignore my questions and request for a refund, not cool.

My roommate had a similar problem with BBTS. He got an almost instant response and apparently they worked it out. That's how you do good business.

in his defense, its right there on his website about the server issues they had that didn't allow them access to their email accounts, and that during that time period (which was over a month, btw) they had an account opened up 24 hrs a day on AIM if anyone needed to contact them.

Okay, I'll admit I didn't see that. I haven't been to the actual site since the order.

Thanks for the advice so far, guys...

I think I might end up placing a Mirage order through BBTS. I got horribly compulsive and snagged a Buy It Now Alt. Prime off of Ebay for $30 + S&H here in the states a few days ago, so I'm cool on that front.

...unless another one shows up, either locally or in stock at BBTS, in which case I can do both Alt. Ratchet AND Ironhide...

I use BBTS for almost everything I buy also. I've also done great business with JRS Toystore (have to google them I dunno their exact URL). As far as Bills Toys is concerned (and I've wanted to say this here and elsewhere but didnt want to sound like an ass), his prices are just too high to deal with, IMHO.
