Don't get me wrong I like TFs overall, but I'm tired of the good guys figures overflowing on the shelves.

We need more CONS!.....when they new MP was annonce, I was excited. Hoping it would be Galvatron, Soundwave...hell I would have took a Dinobot (would be sweet with rubber skin)
Early rumors saying it will be Prime Powermaster. I got mp prime and mp nemesis. Underwelming feeling came over me....

Really making me sick with good guys toys (just realize the name of Chucky doll,:lol )

    Anybody else feels the same?

same here. most of the good guys are done for classics, and for mps, it would have been nice to keep going with new characters

I'm sick of good guys too, particulalry freaking Optimus Prime...MP-10 being yet another Optimus just makes me shake my head. I realize he sells, so good for them I guess. I won't be wasting my money on it.

Wow, I went off on a bit of a rant didn;t I? I guess several beers will do that :lol

I took the rub symbol off RtS Deep Dive and put a 'Con Reprolabel on it. Down with the Autobots! ;)

You gotta look at the line realistically. Which means you gotta think in dollars and cents. What sells better? What makes money? After all, Hasbro is a business is it not?

Bad guys might be edgier & more interesting to us (especially at an older age), but the fact that good guys sell better has been around for a while.

However if anything, I've always felt that Transformers has been one of the better franchises in regards to giving us villain toys & villain characters in the first place, as well as for letting them develop in the stories that're generally told from the good guy's point of view.

The term "Wasting my money on it" should be banned from these boards.

He's the main freaking character of the franchise. What do you expect!? He sells, why does that bother you?

And as said, TFs is incredibly generous with the good guy/bad guy ratio compared to most other lines.

I feel I'm more inclined to buy Decepticon figures. I often pick up a 'con just for the heck of it, whereas with an Autobot I have to give it some thought. I guess its because I'm partial to jets and tanks. :D

The Decepticons exist to be Autobot targets. They have worse sales for that reason, and that's why we don't get quite as many Decepticons. Sucks, I know.

This, definitely. If the TF line was like a lot of other action figure lines (particularly superhero lines like Batman or Superman), every wave of Deluxe figures would consist of the following:

Optimus Prime variation #1 (eg - Capture Claw Optimus Prime)
Optimus Prime variation #2 (eg - Optimus Prime with Face-Removing Action)
Optimus Prime variation #3 (eg - Burning Justice Optimus Prime)
Bumblebee variation #1 (eg - Disco Bumblebee)
Bumblebee variation #2 (eg - Bumblebee with New Hat)
    [Tertiary Autobot character]
Megatron variation #1 (eg - Shadow Attack Megatron)
    [Secondary Decepticon character]

I'll admit that I'm not the most knowledgeable on the corporate Hasbro stuff but hasn't it been said that Decepticons sell just as well as Autobots? I remember that from a WFC behind the scenes video.

    Business indeed.

    True

Kinda on bad guy/good guy ratio

Jets and tanks, how can you go wrong?

    Sucks,yes

    That would be scary....

I do thnk if they were to announce mp Soundwave, shockwave or any other decepts, it would sell out just for that fact, its a new mold...

Decepts did have more combiners, so maybe that's the problem, a lot of "background" players for decpts?

Eh, What can you do. Classics-verse is something like 2:1 Bots/Cons (I really don't think HasTak are keeping count...) & there really isn't a whole lot you can do about it. They're doing it to screw with us I tell you... :lol

Thunderwings & Skullgrins tend to be the most common deluxe figures at my local stores. Voyagers tend to be mainly the Payload (yellow longhaul) & the Bludeon tank repaint. Both Cons.
