    Hey all kitbashers ,
I am doing an alt. kitbash of my own car and wanted it to look like how i have smoked headlamp covers on my car .

I have seen some people do them in red before like tfmaster's wildrider i belive .

If anyone can tell me how to tint them please let me know .

Thanks for your time guys .

I think a quick touching with a lighted would cloud it.

    But i could be wrong.

I assume, because the glass parts of the TFs are also plastic, that you could dye them in some way. I don't know enough about dying to be an absolute source on this subject, though.

Transparent paint. I generally mix my own, by mixing acrylic model paint, with Future. Stained glass paint, should be a quick easy solution.

Testors and Model Master both make Spray Paint Tint that you can use to tint your headlights. Warning though: Its not as dark as you would think...

Tamiya also makes very nice transparent paints in a variety of colors.
