So I have a pretty simple question for the Classics collectors. When it comes to Scourge/Sweeps in a Classics collection which did you go with and why? Does the mass release version replace the exclusive in your CHUG collection? Did you pass on the mass release version because you already have the exclusive from Botcon? Do you have mutiple displays that allow you to keep and display both/all?

For Classics, it's Generations all the way for me.

The Botcon toy works just fine as a Unicron Trilogy Scourge. I never really viewed it as a Classics toy personally.

Generations, no contest. Cheaper/Easier to find and is just (presumably) a much better mold. Also, it helps that he actually looks more like Scourge.

So when Generations Scourge came out did you sell off the Botcon versions?

Not that I could have afforded the BotCon Scourge/Sweeps at the time, but I wasn't a fan of the mold choice to begin with. Thought the Sharkticon mold could have made a better Scourge/Sweep figure with a retooled head.

That said though, United/Generations more than fits the bill. Nothing to do with cost or availability, I just think the design works much better.

generations is way more fitting for a classics scourge. plus it's cheaper, mass retail, and so on.

Botcon Scourge is in my sell box. Generations is on the shelf.

Generations. It's the perfect "Classics" Scourge, plus the Botcon one can't do the "Peekaboo Head" in alt mode. :lol

Generations is the obvious better figure. But I still think the Botcon one is cool and was a great choice at the time. I have both and intend to keep both.

The Generations is better. The Only good thing for Botcon Version have to be is a Transtech repurpose.

Generations. Mostly because it was easier to get then the exclusive and also because I wanted a few of them for the sweeps. Plus, IMO, it was the better figure.

This is also my sentiment, Botcon Scourge was good at the time for a classics styled figure, but can't match up with the Generations figure now. I hope someone can come up with a Devcon head for the Botcon figure though!

Got to go with Gen, mainly cos it looks like Scourge and the botcon one does not, just felt that mold was an awful choice for him any way.

Botcon scourge is a step back from gen/united scourge by a mile. I feel the pain for those who spent the good money for the botcon set.

Two Generations as Sweeps, one United as Scourge.

My poor Botcon guy has never left the box, and I sold the sweeps almost as soon as I got back to the UK. I use that mold for Ratbat, and the Titaniums get closer to being boxed up every time I look at them.
