for the TF collectors club exclusive Astrotrain, is 80 bucks shipped a good deal? He's MIB complete with all 4 minicons.
Just a big fan of astrotrain, how is the toy itself? thanks :)

The toy is alright. Pretty much the same as the Armada Jetfire just a different head.

80 shipped sounds high since Club Members can currently get 2 for 87 + Shipping.

    Ebay:
$80 shipped is just barely on the high side. The lowest ever I've seen it go for on ebay has been about $60-$65 shipped. My spare one in my sales thread is $65 and it wouldn't cost me more then $75 total to ship it to CA.

I'm a fan of the giant planet minicons so I think it's cool. The astrotrain toy itself is similar to the Armada version. It's not bad, but not everyone will like it.

    HELL NO!

Armada Jetfire is "meh" at best so, even if you paint him purple, that's not going to fix his meh-ness!

Though the box seems pretty cool...

I'd say it's worth it. The Jetfire mold is my favorite from the Armada line.

    (Though, that's not saying much.)

I purchased mine a few weeks back and I love it. It's just a beautiful figure.

I got mine in April off eBay for $54 shipped! So $80 isn't ridiculously high, but they occasionally go for less. For a limited release with a new head-sculpt in a great collector's box with 4 minicons, I'd say, yeah, totally worth it, but Astrotrain is my favorite Decepticon so I'm biased. Check youtube for some of the video reviews.
