Looks like the coupon codes go active sometime today. 25% make the LOST complete series on Blu Ray only $180.

    Coupon codes:

    PRICESEARCH
    YAHOO
    SAVE25
    NYTIMES
    LATIMES
    USATODAY
    CJ25

The site: DVDs, Blu-ray, CDs, Books, Video Games, Electronics and more - DeepDiscount.com

Not the greatest deals as they once were since Amazon has gotten pretty vigilant about matching this but it can still save some money. And, I've been ordering from them during these sales for so long it's kind of become habit.

Will that work? In the past, DD's 25% off codes have only been for in-stock items.

You know, I think you're right. I think I'm getting confused from last year when the Battlestar Galactica complete series set came out in the middle of the sale during the Summer sale and then the Farscape compelte series set came out during the Fall sale.

Guess we'll find out soon :D  If it doesn't work, I apologize for the misinformation.

Yeah, this doesn't work on preorders. Sorry folks, I'm an idiot.

Yes, they're prices have gone up. Sometimes they go up the day before the Sale...

Prices have definitely gone up over the last year or so. I've ordered very little there recently. Amazon almost always has them beat by a wide margin.

How long should this last again?

Nevermind - I see it goes until June 20th.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the site to work? It won't let me put more than 1 item in the cart!

Yeah, that's really scared me off their sale this year. The saving just aren't there anymore.

Depends. I'm getting the XMen on BR with digital copies for about $35 instead of $50. And I've a bunch of cheapo discs that are going from $10 to $7.50, or $7.00 to $5.00.

Guess it just depends on what you're looking for and how well you look for it. My DVD collection is at that point where I don't really need (or have room) for anything new. Everything that I do want is highly priced and discount doesn't justify me purchasing. Meh, better luck next year.

I'm at the point where I am on one hand judiciously upgrading some films to BluRay, while on the other snapping up super cheap DVDs (mostly cheap horror), so they're really not much more expensive than a rental.

Unlike past big sales, it looks like the coupon codes don't work on everything there. It looks like an item needs one of the "Sale 25% Off Item" signs for the coupon code to work. I bought a few Super Friends DVDs.

Grr, I just remembered one reason I don't like ordering from DD - they don't let you know something is backordered until after you place the order. I'm not a fan of waiting indefinitely for something.

Still, $27 for the Doctor Who Complete TV Specials box set is a great deal. Hopefully they'll get more in.

Just dropped 2 bills, so my savings was substantial. ;)

XMen Blu and LIFE (Attenborough Edition) were the major purchases.

Also grabbed Logan's Run, Major League, Cityof the Living Dead and Dead Snow on Blu, and Abombinable Dr. Phibes/Dr. Phibes Rises Again!, Dead Birds, Golem, Blood Feast, 2000 Maniacs, Curse of the Demon, The Golem, Wicker Man (original) and Tourist Trap on DVD.

I used the "YAHOO" on my order and it worked. I also tried "PRICESEARCH" out of curiosity and that one worked as well. This was around 7:30AM.
