I don't know if this was brought up but in a recent TIME magazine there was an article on fanboys and their films, ie 300, Spider-Man, Transformers. But their definition seems to be adult and teen males who have adolescent interests and are devoutly loyal to them.

Here's the small part of their article that features a tiny paragraph on transformers and the same picture of Bonecrusher.

Closer picture of Bonecrusher, which looks more "clear" (or, to me, pale) than previous versions though it might be the printing.

That's a pretty clear pic of Bonecrusher (maybe it's the lighting).

It looks that bright in the magazine so it isn't my scanner.

Looks more "Prop"y, like a miniature.
