It's not so much getting 'Cancelled' as it is that the author couldn't think of anything past the current storyline and the like. More than likely a new title will pop up in a month or two after Till All Are One is finished to pick up where Scott left off.
But they just bring Airachnid to IDW, so what now to the Cybertron side of Transformers are the next series of?

Well, shit. Issue 10 was one of the best single issues of a Transformers comic in years, and TAAO has semi-consistently (Titans Return kind of stalled the book for a while) been the strongest of the three current titles in terms of writing, so it really sucks to see it get the axe. I really hope Scott gets another project to work on, but going off of that post it doesn't sound like it'll be anytime soon. I dunno, she made it seem like the book just wasn't selling well, and she had the option to revamp it to attract new readers or just finish her current story and end it. She clearly had ideas beyond the current storyline, but the higher-ups were demanding a bigger shakeup and she didn't want to do it.
Yeah, it's time for IDW to lose the license. Between this, the way they treated Milne, and the influx of events and shoehorning of other properties into the universe, I'm just done with IDW in general. It's like they want the TF comics universe to suck. I don't know, with IDW basically dead at this point, I can feel my interest in Transformers waning by the second, think I might buy a few more figures this year and finally call it quits, because she was their last good writer after Roberts fell into his own ass.
I'm glad that Knock Out/Breakdown weight shaming thing didn't make it in. IDW's biggest fault as of late has been its pandering to the Tumblr crowd and that wouldn't have helped.
Aw man, just when I thought we'd have three Transformers ongoing for a good long time, this happens. 'Sigh' Oh well, best for it to go out with a bang, instead of a whimper.
so let me get this right the book was consistently good, and good BECAUSE of it's consistency. some dipshit in upper management wanted a status quo shakeup, after this year's stupid fucking crossover event Scott didnt want to shake up her status quo because she had an actual fucking story planned. book gets cancelled
