So I'm doing a custom with Beast Wars Grimlock to give him the durable gold plastic of this guy:

Easy enough (aside from accidentally stabbing myself in the hand with a screwdriver trying to swap the feet around), but now I have a conundrum with the knees where the sockets are too big for the ball joints despite this being the exact same mold.

And I tried floor polish but it doesn't work. Anyone got a fix?

Can you take a picture of the completed piece? My BW grimlock has just recently started to have issues with GPS. Oh, and what figure is that? I'm going to do the same thing.

Can you take the legs from that version? I would just take those legs and keep them on the grimlock version, only swapping around the feet. It's not perfect, but it's got to be better than trying -and hoping- for a fix that might not work.

It's another version of Grimlock: Grimlock - Transformers Toys - TFW2005 I had to look it up too as I had forgotten about it.
